To ensure the mission’s success, NASA has designed a new generation of futuristic spacesuits.
NASA said: “At first glance, NASA’s new spacesuit that will be worn on Artemis missions might look like the suits that astronauts use for spacewalks outside the International Space Station (ISS) today.
“However, 21st-century moonwalkers will be able to accomplish much more complex tasks than their predecessors, thanks to strides in technological advances that started even before the Apollo program.
“Spacesuits are not only a classic icon of human space exploration, they are also a personalised spaceship that mimics all of the protections from the harsh environment of space and the basic resources that Earth and its atmosphere provide.”

The InSight lander, which arrived on the surface of Mars in the November 2018, recorded its first set of seismic rumblings back in April.

The Marsquakes were picked up by NASA’s Seismic Experiment for Interior Structure (SEIS) in May and July.
Marsquakes, the equivalent of earthquakes, are caused by movements in the planet's interior, possibly from volcanic hotspots.
NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory said: “Both suggest that the Martian crust is like a mix of the Earth's crust and the Moon’s.
"Mars, with its cratered surface, is slightly more Moon-like, with seismic waves ringing for a minute or so, whereas quakes on Earth can come and go in seconds."
Scientists hope that the seismic waves will reveal the deep inner structure of Mars for the first time.

Indian space agency reveals high resolution photos of moon from orbit | Daily Mail Online
The highest-quality photographs ever taken of the moon's surface from lunar orbit have been released by the Indian space agency.
Taken by the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter on September 5, the images reveal a region of the moon that lies within the 8.7 mile (14 km) -wide impact crater Boguslawsky.
The shot — which was taken from 62 miles (100 km) above the lunar surface — reveals boulders and craters with a pixel resolution of 12 inches (30 cm).

The Indian Space Research Organisation's second lunar probe, Chandrayaan-2's mission is to study the moon's topography, its chemical composition and the distribution of its minerals.
The craft has eight different scientific instruments to study the moon — among which are two imaging devices: the Terrain Mapping Camera 2 and the Orbiter High Resolution Camera.

Abby Tabor, from NASA's Ames Research Center, said: “A new future for city transport is in the works at NASA – a future where both people and packages will take to the air.
“And this week, the agency is working with partner company Uber to evaluate certain things we already know and others we still need to invent to manage this expected new air traffic.
“The goal, known as Urban Air Mobility or UAM, is a safe and efficient air transportation system where everything from small package-delivery drones to passenger-carrying air taxis operate over populated areas – from small towns to largest cities.”

San Francisco-based Uber has joined the ride by developing an “urban aviation rideshare network”.
The main concern is how many flying cars, delivery drones and even larger vehicles will safely occupy the skies.
Iranian space agency sends letter to UNOOSA protesting US sanctions - Mehr News Agency
In this letter, it is underlined that all three sanctioned Iranian entities are in charge of supporting civilian and peaceful projects carried out in outer space.
Denouncing US unilateral sanctions, which violate the principle of international space Law, the letter reminds that Iran is among the countries prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes, flash floods and etc., therefore it is vital for it to prevent such disasters using space technology.
The letter, in addition, urges international bodies and United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) to condemn the US sanctions and continue their cooperation with Iran.
On September 3, the US imposed sanctions on Iran's civilian space agency and two research organizations, saying they were being used to advance Tehran's ballistic missile program.
