Lisa Rinna Falls Out Bikini With Magic 8-Ball

Lisa Rinna is barely-contained in tight swimwear and with a magic 8-ball. The 57-year-old "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star was double the trouble on her Instagram today, posting red-hot bathing suit photos for her 2.6 million followers and offering up two versions. Lisa, who doesn't need to worry about having two model daughters with her ripped physique, was all muscle and curves in her strappy swimsuit, and it looked like the hard-hitting Bravo face was having fun with emoji. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photos, where it'll be a similar deal, but the former "Melrose Place" actress had shared one in black-and-white and one in color. Lisa, who has been making headlines for her December 2020-launched Rinna Beauty line, took a brief break from the makeup promo on Tuesday, posting edgy shade-and-sun photos as she lounged around in a plunging and very low-cut swimsuit showing off her trim figure.

Lisa is busy building herself an empire with her makeup line, one retailing $45 Lip Kits, plus cheaper lipsticks and liners in shades including Birthday Suit and No Apologies. She's also fresh from reflecting on starting a business at 57.

The launch brought a full feature with Allure , where Lisa confirmed that she went with her gut when kicking off her brand. "Yeah, I really am somebody who trusts their gut. I got pretty frustrated at times because it seems like a no brainer, me doing lips. Right?" she said.

More recently, Lisa has been celebrating 24 years of marriage to 1997-wed husband Harry Hamlin, with whom she shares daughters Amelia Gray and Delilah Belle. The video marking the anniversary came with Lisa's usual humor. Scroll for Lisa proving why her lipstick is called Birthday Suit after the video.

Gymnast Nastia Liukin Enjoys Bikini Shower For Cash

Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is dripping wet and arching her back in a skimpy, buttercup-yellow bikini while getting paid. The 31-year-old former athlete and new Pottery Barn face today reminded her 1 million Instagram followers of her endorsement potential, with photos of the 2008 all-around champion stunning fans as Nastia slipped back into her bikini. Liukin was promoting Bondi Boost hair products, with the drenched shower shots proving popular as soon as the blonde posted. See the photos, plus Nastia's flexibility below.

Scroll for the photos. The above one marked part of the 12th annual Nastia Cup countdown, with the NBC Sports-aired event last month taking Nastia to Indiana. Likely posting from the California desert following a recent Palm Springs, CA trip, Nastia updated Monday morning and with a bang.

In her element and ensuring Bondi's products were visible as they sat on rocks near Nastia, the gymnast posted a total three photos, then going #influencer in her caption.

Liukin, who also fronts Facebook App and last year extended both legs in a bubble bath for Olay skincare, added:

"A very special shout out to the @BondiBoost Hair Growth Range that is quite literally changing my hair for the better every day. Their products are made with natural and organic stimulating ingredients (like rosemary & peppermint essential oils) to help cleanse the scalp and increase blood circulation to your roots!"

Nastia, who runs her own gigs via her The Muse Collective empowerment startup and the $55 Celery Green Cream she retails with Volition, confirmed the promotional nature of her post as she abided by Instagram's required #ad. The Dallas, TX resident is also a regular influencer for clothing brand Revolve, having this year also promoted high-protein cereal and indoor exercise bikes. "More pics from this photo shoot please," a fan quickly replied.

Jennifer Lopez Wore a Teeny Strapless Yellow Bikini to Dance in a Pool | InStyle

Jennifer Lopez has never met a bikini she can't wear the hell out of. Case in point, her latest Instagram story where she drank a mimosa and danced in a pool (to her ex-boyfriend Drake's song) wearing a strapless yellow bikini.

She accessorized – yes in the pool – with her signature gold hoops and aviators. Over the video, the actress wrote, "Sunday Mood." And well, yes.

The singer is currently in the Dominican Republic filming her movie Shotgun Wedding. Her fiancé Alex Rodriguez was there last week following rumors that the two had called off their engagement. According to an official statement from the couple, they are "working on things." A source later told E! that "it was important to Jennifer that Alex stepped up in a public way and showed his level of commitment to her."

Katharine McPhee says she's loving her post-baby curves in new bikini pic | Fox News

Katharine McPhee is proudly showing off her new curvy body after giving birth just five weeks ago.

The 37-year-old singer posted a new selfie on her Instagram Stories in a brown two-piece swimsuit. "Loving my curves because my baby gave them to me," she captioned the snap.

The Broadway star previously told People magazine she isn't putting pressure on herself to bounce back after giving birth.

"I thought I would have this pressure [to bounce back] but I've just been so grateful and happy that I've had a healthy baby and I've felt really good, emotionally and physically," McPhee said. "I'm so happy that I don't have this crazy pressure yet to fit into whatever jeans I have in my closet."

McPhee also said she's loving the bonding time with her son and music producer husband, whom she married in 2019.

"I'm up at 5 a.m. with him and we listen to his dad's piano album [Foster's Eleven Words] and we have our quiet time," she gushed. "And at night before we put him in his room, it's just the three of us in bed. We take lots of pictures! It's really sweet."

Foster, 71, also has five daughters from four previous relationships: Allison Jones Foster, 50, Amy Skylark, 47, Sara Foster, 40, Erin Foster, 38, and Jordan Foster, 34.

The couple first met in 2006 when McPhee was a contestant on the fifth season of "American Idol" and Foster was a mentor on the singing competition series.

The Gold Medal waist wasn't hidden as Nastia grinned from ear to ear, with a swipe-right showing her shiny new product.

Nastia, also fresh from being unveiled as home retailer Pottery Barn's new face, took to her caption to announce the big news.

"My face when I can finally share the news that I'm teaming up with @volitionbeauty again to bring you the ULTIMATE face mask — introducing Instant Glow Celery Green Mask!!! 🌱🌱🌱," she wrote, adding:

Recalling her childhood, the Moscow native continued: "At the time, when you're 9, 10 years old, you're not really sure what the benefits are, but I guess if your mom tells you to drink it, you should drink it."

Nastia, this year in the news for hosting the NBC-aired Nastia Cup in Indiana, is also an active influencer, having made 2020 headlines for extending both legs in a bubble bath for Olay skincare. She also fronts Facebook App and regularly shouts out clothing brand Revolve.

"I feel like I still have this stigma in MMA that I'm just a pretty face, and what a way to prove to people that's not the way I see myself at all," she said to ESPN in August . "This is a sport where people probably have the highest rate of getting cut open and having long-term scars is definitely something that I'm not even worried about for me. It's just the love of competition and I'm really excited to go out there and show off in such an amazing sport."

VanZant, 27, has a career MMA record of 8-5. She made her UFC debut in 2014 and won her first three matches before losing three of the next four. Her final UFC match came in July 2020, losing to Amanda Ribas via submission in the first round.

Shortly after her BKFC battle, VanZant revealed she had talks with WWE . "I get asked about WWE a lot," VanZant said on the INSIGHT With Chris Van Vliet podcast. "I think it would be something I’d be very good at because I have the best of both worlds. I was a Dancer, I used to like the entertainment and showmanship side of it… and then the combat sports world obviously goes into the WWE."

NEW YORK, March 30, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Maybelline New York, the world's leading cosmetics brand, is excited to announce K-pop band ITZY as the newest global spokesmodels to join the Maybelline family. Marking the first-ever musical group signed to the brand, ITZY's members - Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna - join Maybelline's diverse talent roster including supermodel Gigi Hadid and actress Storm Reid.

Formed in 2019 and signed by JYP Entertainment, ITZY burst onto the scene by smashing records with " Dalla Dalla ," the quintet's debut single that peaked at #2 on Billboard's YouTube chart and #1 on iTunes' song chart in twelve regions. With four albums, a successful reality series, an 11-city showcase tour, and countless accolades (including 11 Rookie of the Year/Best New Artist awards) under their belts in just two years, ITZY continues to rise in popularity around the world. Their upcoming album set to drop on April 30 , "Guess Who," promises to further cement the girl group as a global force.

Their fans are drawn not only to their statement-making style, smooth dance moves, and catchy tunes, but the inspiring messages of empowerment that encourage listeners to be unapologetically themselves. ITZY's slogan, "All in us," is a reflection of the group's core values, which include self-confidence and unconditional self-love. These beliefs come through in their music. Each song carries a message for the world and their fans and aims to inspire people daily. ITZY's spirit and positive platform sync up with Maybelline's brand values of confidence, empowerment, and inclusivity.

"I have been watching ITZY's inspiring rise and was drawn to how dynamic they are both as a group and individuals," says Trisha Ayyagari , Global Brand President, Maybelline New York. "ITZY champions self-love, individuality, and self-expression to their fans and global community. Their energy is powerful and I am so excited to bring these voices to Maybelline!"

As a group that exudes confidence, Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna credit makeup experimentation as a way to express themselves in their own unique way while simultaneously showcasing the personality and power of ITZY.

"We have always admired the Maybelline brand and are so excited to be able to contribute our creativity, positivity, and energy to their global community," said ITZY. "It's a huge opportunity to bring new sides of ourselves to our fans and to remind the world that being confident and bold is in all of us."

ITZY will first appear in Maybelline's Hypersharp Liner, Ultimatte Lipstick, and SuperStay Foundations campaigns in Asia this spring.

ITZY Reveals Their Debut Song "DALLA DALLA" Originally Had A Different Title And Hook | Soompi

The ITZY members appeared as guests on the latest episode of SBS's popular YouTube show "MMTG," where they chatted with host JaeJae about their recently released English versions of their Korean title tracks.

During the interview, JaeJae noted that ITZY hadn't translated the titular Korean phrase "DALLA DALLA" in the new English version of the song, instead choosing to leave it in Korean throughout the otherwise mostly English lyrics. Pointing out that the Korean word " dalla " (which means "different") sounds similar to the English word "dollar," she asked, "To foreigners' ears, wouldn't 'DALLA' sound like 'dollar,' as in the money?"

Ryujin then surprised JaeJae by revealing that the original lyrics to the famous hook of "DALLA DALLA" were different from what they are now. "Actually, before our debut," she shared, "that was supposed to be the double meaning of the song." Yeji chimed in with a smile, "We're revealing this for the first time right now."

JaeJae then correctly guessed that the original hook had been "Billion Dollar Baby" before "DALLA DALLA" replaced it, leading to some adorably shocked reactions from the ITZY members.

Ryujin exclaimed, "That's right. Those were the original lyrics: 'Billion Dollar, Dollar Baby' instead of [' Nan mwunga dalla dalla , yeah,' which translates to 'Something's different, different about me, yeah']."

The ITZY members then went on to demonstrate what the original version of the song sounded like, with JaeJae proving her MIDZY status by excitedly joining in.

Check out the full episode of "MMTG" below! (ITZY sings the snippet of the original version of "DALLA DALLA" at 5:42 in the video.)

ITZY Is Left Scrambling In Recent Episode Of 'Codename: Secret ITZY' : K-WAVE : koreaportal

ITZY 's upcoming 2nd debut anniversary is coming fast, and to commemorate this, they surprised fans with a  teaser regarding a song  they are releasing after their online fan gathering. This is considered ITZY's second gift to fans as ITZY already presented their first gift: the web reality series entitled "Codename: Secret ITZY."

The first-ever  episode of "Codename: Secret ITZY"  was  released  a little over two weeks ago on the 2nd of March. The first episode revolved around introducing the premise of the show and how the girls had to "battle" a person clad in all black to get their first hint.

When the  second episode  of "Codename: Secret ITZY"  dropped , it showed the girls using their combined brainpower to overcome a puzzle. As a group, they are known for their unity and teamwork, but in the second episode, the mission just seemed too difficult. Eventually, they faltered, and they moved on to another task that pitted them against one another.

The third episode  of "Codename: Secret ITZY" dropped on the 16th of March, and in the episode, the girls were tasked to play a card game that required them to react quickly. Eventually, Yuna wins the game, and her prize is her becoming the "ace."

As the "ace," Yuna was given a radio and was told a specific task. When she completed it, ITZY was handed a cart that contained cushions which led to the final clue in unlocking the iPad that was given in the second episode.

Recently, Chaeryeong was able to finish the cushions challenge in the  fourth episode of "Codename: Secret ITZY."  This led the girls to the pin for the iPad.

After unlocking it, the iPad played a video showing the senior members of the secret club. The senior members said that for ITZY to become official members,  ITZY  must pass the "entrance test" that will be given to them in the episode and the title of the test is the "log in test," which needed four items for ITZY to pass.

White boxes with the four items were scattered around the headquarters, and  ITZY scrambled  around to find all of them. When they collected the boxes, ITZY took out all the items inside and started forming clues. After a while of having no progress, the girls decided to search for more clues.

Eventually, Yuna was left alone, and her radio once again went on with the person on the other side saying, "Get moving and find pink."

Hailey Bieber Says Cyber Bullying Got So Bad She Limits IG Use

Hailey Bieber is learning how to unplug from social media, while silencing online trolls at the same time ... a process she says her hubby, Justin , is guiding her through.

Hailey was talking to Dr. Jessica Clemons -- a world-renowned psychiatrist -- about mental health and social media when she dished on how she navigates Instagram, Twitter and other apps these days ... while also processing vile comments from complete strangers.

For starters, Mrs. Bieber explained how she's actually come to limit her Instagram use ... swearing it off Monday through Friday and only hopping in on weekends. That's apparently helped drown out a lot of noise ... and so has completely nixing Twitter from her rotation.

Check it out ... she describes it as very toxic, and is realizing what a lot of users have about the bird platform in 2021.

There's more Hailey does to filter out unnecessary negativity on IG -- she explains how she limits her comments to just people she follows, from whom she knows she won't get any out-of-pocket/mean-spirited remarks just 'cause. She also says good old-fashioned therapy has helped her deal with relentless bullying.

Hailey also heaped praise on Justin for giving her great advice and much-needed perspective on how to look at these sorts of things ... seeing how he's been through this on the biggest stage.

Hailey Bieber Is the New Face of Superga

ELLE.com caught up with Bieber over Zoom, where she detailed the intricacies of her personal style, shared her post-pandemic bucket list, and what she wants to tackle next with her activism.

It was really nice to be around people who I’ve worked with before but haven’t seen in a very long time. It made me appreciate seeing them so much more. I felt really grateful to be able to work with the team despite the circumstances.

The classic 275’s are my favorite! I’ll be wearing them a lot, especially when the weather gets warmer.

My style and taste have evolved with time and age. It’s constantly changing, except when it comes to staple items like a big coat or oversized leather jacket—those are things I always love! The cool thing about working in fashion is I get to pick up things from people I meet in that space and I get to see things before they’re out. I see the color schemes, patterns, cuts and shapes that people are going for—that plays a lot into what I end up choosing to fit my style.

I started learning how to play chess! My husband has been teaching me how to play. I’m not very good at it because he wins every time but I’m going to keep working on it to get better.

I’ve been limiting my time on Instagram. I just had just find a way to step away from it and do it in a way that felt healthy for me due to the anxiety I would get from seeing certain things. I don’t go on it during the week, so I only check it for the first time at the end of the week and that has helped me so much. I’m really happy about that.

Every individual that has done the takeover is so amazing. I love getting to know them and their stories and what they stand for. They’ve really inspired me in so many different ways. We’ve been reaching out to different people in various spaces and seeing if they are interested. I just want to continue being able to give people a platform to educate and the thing that’s been cool is my followers and I have been learning together along the way.

I would love to see more inclusivity. I believe we’re moving in that direction slowly but surely, but I still think it’s only the bare minimum.

Clearly, Hailey is a fan of budget-friendly beauty picks. Last year she revealed her key to her gorgeous brows is castor oil, which also comes with an affordable price tag. Talking to Glamour , Hailey also shared her favorite cleanser, the Bare Minerals Smoothness Hydrating Cleansing Oil, which is slightly more costly at about $30 per bottle. (Hailey is an ambassador for the brand.) "If I work all day, I want to make sure that I have a good double-cleansing situation happening at night," she says of the product. "I don't use makeup wipes because they're not good for your skin, so I really love the BareMinerals oil cleanser. Hailey Bieber: Getting dressed up in lockdown was good for my mental health | Entertainment |

Hailey Bieber says getting dressed up in lockdown was "good" for her "mental health and well-being".

She told British Vogue: "I love wearing sweatpants. I love being comfortable and cosy so during lockdown, you know, being in sweatpants, I was just kind of like, okay, you know, it didn't feel like it was like that different of a situation for me because I wear sweatpants a lot, and I incorporate big comfortable sweatpants into my personal style.

"For the first four months of the pandemic we were at our home in Canada and we were in full lockdown so we couldn't go anywhere.

"There was nothing to do, there was nothing to dress up for. So towards the end of that, I started getting dressed at home and putting outfits together at home. I feel like it was good for my mental health and well-being, and it felt good for me to even just put together outfits."

Hailey - who is married to pop megastar Justin Bieber - also admitted she finds it stressful walking red carpets and has embraced wearing a mask because it makes her "less self-conscious" when she is being papped.

She said of the pandemic: "I actually really enjoy it and it's made things a lot less stressful and easier.

"We [Justin Bieber] can go out for date nights and dinners in LA, and honestly like I know a lot of people are over the masks and stuff but I've enjoyed getting to wear masks in front of paparazzi. I feel like it makes you a lot less self-conscious – it takes away a little bit of the stress of being photographed."

Justin, who currently graces  Billboard 's cover , blasted trolls who kept comparing his wife to ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez with a lengthy note about how it's "extremely hard to choose the high road" when people are constantly trying to "bully" his wife. Hailey reposted her husband's response at the time, adding she "needed to protect myself and my mental [sic]."

But following their "very difficult" first year of marriage came the perfect storm of the COVID-19 pandemic that allowed the A-list couple to spend "so much solid alone time" together that felt like a "long, extended vacation." And the two certainly have carved out time for actual baecations, like the one they took during Justin's  second "Anyone" music video that puts Hailey front and center. Being part of a Hollywood couple can come with a lot of pressure, but for the Biebers, their faith is the foundation that keeps them rock-solid.

"I think any relationship can fail, Hollywood or not. Is it harder in the public eye? Absolutely," she declares. "But I think the two of us are grounded by our faith. I'm not saying it's this easy-peasy thing that doesn't take work. We talk to a therapist. We do what we have to do."

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak Perform New Song at 2021 Grammys | PEOPLE.com

A week before the performance, Bruno Mars implored the Grammys to allow his band Silk Sonic to play at the show

The duo — known these days as  Silk Sonic — delivered a dazzling performance of their new song " Leave the Door Open " during the 63rd annual awards show on Sunday.

The two matched in maroon 70s-style inspired suits and alternated taking the lead singing their new song, with Mars handling the chorus.

"If you just wanna lay me some/Imma leave the door open/Imma leave the door open girl/let you feel the way I feel," he sang.

Performing against a starry background, the two singers sang a dazzling and dreamy rendition of "Leave the Door Open."

The performance came a week after Mars posted an open letter to the Grammy organizers on Twitter, writing, "If you can see it in your hearts to allow two out of work musicians to perform at your show, we would really appreciate it. We  just released a song and could really use  the promotion right now."

The "Uptown Funk" singer said he and .Paak "have a lot riding on this record (and the Pelicans game next week, but that's another story). We haven't been able to perform for a while and we just want to sing. We'll send in an audition tape and  take as many COVID tests  as we need to. I promise we won't be extra. We just really want a gig again."

"I hope you'll consider this request and give us the opportunity to shine. Love, Silk Sonic," he concluded.

Many things are taking place:

Hoping Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak do "Leave the Door Open" at the Grammys

What's the song you've been listening to the most lately? The one you hit on repeat? For many of us, since last Friday, it's Silk's Sonic's "Leave the Door Open", right? Silk Sonic is Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, a track that's been steadily climbing over the last few days because it's good but also … really, really, really funny. If there was ever a song that could represent what the best sex should be like, it's "Leave the Door Open". And by that I mean smooth and sensual and stimulating, obviously, but also really, really, really fun. Like you're feeling it the way you should feel it in the places where the feeling is and also laughing throughout because it's a good f-cking time, literally!

That's "Leave the Door Open". It's hot and comedic. It's lusty and hilarious. And it's intended to be that way, you can tell, because of how Bruno and Anderson perform it in the video. Look at their facial expressions – these two aren't taking themselves too seriously, they're not brooding at the camera, this whole vibe is a wink, for the express purpose of getting a giggle out of you, maybe followed by a feigned eyeroll, before you come back for more.

Which is why, of course, Bruno and Anderson will be performing it at the Grammys on Sunday, after "begging" the Recording Academy all week for an invitation. I put that in quotes because there is no way the Grammys wouldn't want them there, Bruno in particular, given his success at the Grammys in years past. So, sure, this thing was a ruse from the beginning but does it matter when the two of them played it so well on social media? Here's how it started last Sunday:

My favourite part of that is "I promise we won't be extra" because, well, again, check the video because it's impossible for these two to NOT be extra.

Speaking of extra, then they brought in the BTS ARMY. As we all know by now, ARMY can make anything go viral.

You’re right. I got excited we were trending for a while today. I’m sorry I let you down. I hope you & BTS go on to do great things. ðŸ˜Å¾ https://t.co/kjpiGQdylP

Important to note though that BTS's fanbase isn't that easily exploited. They don't bite for everyone. But Anderson actually has some established ARMY cred – his son, Soul, is deep into BTS, a member of ARMY himself:

Anderson and his wife, Jaylyn, are raising their two sons, Soul and Shine, to speak both Korean and English. So the social media promotion this week with the BTS tags wasn't totally out of nowhere. And that was just part it – Anderson and Bruno continued to bicker over social media and angst about whether or not the Grammys would return their call until, naturally, the Recording Academy picked up:

Dear @RecordingAcad we humbly accept your invitation to reunite on your grand stage. Thank you! We swear we won’t do the most. ♥️ #SilkSonic https://t.co/tVEk2s9FS4

Watch Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak's Silk Sonic Perform at the 2021 Grammys | Consequence

The soulful supergroup released their debut single earlier this month, and then all that was left to do was promote it. "Dear Grammys", Mars wrote in a Twitter letter, "If you can see it in your hearts to allow two out of work musicians to perform at your show, we would really appreciate it."

Ask and ye shall receive. For music's biggest night, the artists performed "Leave the Door Open" in throwback threads, wearing brown suits unbuttoned to the sternum and literal rose-colored glasses. They also showed off some doo wop steps, performing with similarly-attired backup dancers in front of a backdrop of twinkling stars.

Silk Sonic's full-length album, An Evening with Silk Sonic , is expected later this year. That will be Mars' first full-length release since 2016's 24K Magic . For .Paak's part, his last solo effort was 2019's Ventura . In 2020r, he pulled a u-ey with Busta Rhymes on the delightful single "YUUUU" .

Everything We Know About Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak's Upcoming 'Silk Sonic' Album

Silk Sonic is what happens when two of the brightest stars in the class get together in one group. Bruno Mars , who has been currently enjoying his commercial peak, teamed up with Anderson .Paak for a match made in heaven in the upcoming Evening with Silk Sonic . The album is a celebration of the duo's excellence at the highest level and nothing is stopping it from becoming an all-time classic.

As the R&B super duo released their silky-smooth single " Leave the Door Open " in March 2021, many highly anticipate this great matchup to deliver the full album in upcoming months. From how the friendship started to the album's release date, here's everything we know so far about the upcoming Evening with Silk Sonic album.

Bruno Mars doesn't always drop albums, but when he does, they become instant classics deserving of constant repeats. Mars has always been picky about his creative works, hence he takes years to carefully craft his music. After Doo-Wops & Hooligans debut in 2010, it took Mars three years to release his second album, Unorthodox Jukebox . Then, another three years for the third, 24k Magic .

While it's not yet to be confirmed, singers H.E.R. and Victoria Monét just dropped some in-your-face hints that they may be featured on the album. H.E.R. took to Instagram to post a picture of her with the duo and their producer , along with the caption, "Tried to audition to be in Silk Sonic. Idk if I made the cut."

Monét, on the other hand, shared a vintage-themed snippet of the new single and said that she is eager to open for their tour once everything goes back to normal.

For avid R&B fans, Bootsy Collins is no strange name. Known as one of the most important members of supergroup Parliament-Funkadelic, Collins was the one who named the duo after hearing the full album. In fact, the bassist also serves as "a special host" and provides the welcoming narration on the album's intro skit.

"And we kept coming up with music. It felt like why you fall in love with music in the first place," Mars told Lowe. "This was a series of events that led us to 'Man, why don't we just do it?'"

However, not everyone is happy for Bruno Mars' deeper foray into R&B. For years, the Grammy-winning powerhouse singer has been accused of appropriating black culture, to which he responded during an interview with The Breakfast Club .

"You can't find an interview where I haven't talked about the entertainers who have come before me. The only reason I'm here is because of James Brown, Prince, Michael," said Mars, reassuring that all the music he's made has come from the heart.

Quite a lot has been going on:

Silk Sonic Sets Adult R&B Airplay Chart Record | Billboard

Just a month into their public debut, Silk Sonic are already making record moves on the Billboard charts. The duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak  see their first single, "Leave the Door Open," leap to No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart in the fastest run to the top by male artists in the chart's history.

"Door," released on Aftermath/Atlantic Records, jumps from No. 3 to crown the list dated April 3. It rocketed 14% in plays in the week ending March 28 to become the most-played song at the adult R&B radio format in that period, according to MRC Data.

With the new chart champ, Bruno Mars captures his fifth No. 1. Here's a look at his previous leaders:

Song Title, Artist (if other than Bruno Mars), Weeks at No. 1, Date Reached No. 1
"Uptown Funk!," Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars, three, April 25, 2015
"24K Magic," three, March 11, 2017
"That's What I Like," six, July 8, 2017
"Finesse," with Cardi B, three, April 28, 2018
"Leave the Door Open," with Anderson .Paak, one (to date), April 3, 2021

Anderson .Paak, meanwhile, picks up his first No. 1. He previously topped out with his track "Make It Better," featuring Smokey Robinson, which rose to No. 2 in October 2019.

"Door" also sprints to No. 1 in just four weeks, the fastest time clocked by any song in nearly five years and one of only five songs to make it to the summit in under a month since the chart began in September 1993. Notably, as the collab is billed to Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak), and contributes to the individual chart histories of both artists, the dash makes the quickest push to No. 1 on Adult R&B among solo male acts.

Weeks to No. 1, Song Title, Artist, Date Reached No. 1
2, "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)," Whitney Houston, Nov. 11, 1995
3, "Anniversary," Tony Toni Tone, Oct. 16, 1993
3, "Body & Soul," Anita Baker, Sept. 10, 1994
4, "Thick of It," Mary J. Blige, Nov. 12, 2016
4, "Leave the Door Open," Silk Sonic, April 3, 2021

Beyond its Adult R&B coronation, "Door" continues its climb on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, where it rises 10-9. There, it improved 23% to 14.2 million in audience in the week ending March 28. Potential further radio top 10s loom with Rhythmic Airplay , where "Door" skips 16-11 thanks to a 33% boost in plays in the tracking week, and Pop Airplay , where, despite repeating at No. 16, the song picked up 23% in plays.

Gains across the radio sectors push "Door" into the top 10 of the all-genre Radio Songs chart. In its third week on the ranking, the single lifts 12-8. With the move, the track completes the fastest run to the region since Justin Bieber's "Yummy" cracked the barrier in its second week, in January 2020.

What Did We Miss? Bruno Mars impersonator scams woman out of $100K - WWAY TV

'What Did We Miss?' is our weekly comedy news segment. Every week Wills Maxwell Jr. gives a humorous report on the weird news stories that WWAY did not cover. This week's stories are:

Featuring special guest Reid Clark! Watch 'What Did We Miss?' every Thursday on Good Morning Carolina and WWAY News at 7. Catch up on previous episodes here.

Wills: How goes it, I'm Wills Maxwell Jr. and this is What Did We Miss? Here I tell you the stories that WWAY did not with far more confidence than I should have.

Two Florida women were caught pretending to be senior citizens so they could get a covid vaccine. It might have worked if they hadn't insisted on stacking on top of each other in a giant trenchcoat. Sounds like they may have already gotten away with this once. The pair arrived at the Orange County Convention Center decked out in bonnets, gloves, and glasses to get their second shot. Once the health director spotted them he pulled them aside like "Come on, this is Florida. We know what old people look like. We know they don't all look like the cast from 'Mama's Family'" They didn't have any charges pressed against them but the sheriff's deputy served some very strong 'disappointed dad' vibes.

Sheriff’s Deputy: You know what you have done? You’ve stolen a vaccine from somebody that needs it more than you. And now you’re not going to get your second one, so that’s a whole waste of time we just wasted here on this- just for your selfishness of stealing the vaccine.

Wills: You owe every high-risk person here an apology. In fact, I want you to one-by-one, make your way through this vulnerable population, look them in the eye, don't hide behind a mask, look them in the eye, get right up close where they can hear you and just breathe "I'm sorry" in their face. Then go to your room and think about what you've done. Your mother will be hearing about this."

Wills: A Texas woman was scammed out of $100,000 by a man she met online pretending to be Bruno Mars. She fell in love with him even though he kept warning her she better run. Catfishing scams are far too common and cause serious damage. For more on this, we're joined by Bruno Mars. Bruno, thanks for doing the show, I'm just a huge fan.

Wills: You're far too famous for me to correct. I've always wondered, you have so many hits, what’s your favorite. I loved 'Grenade'

Reid: Right! Right. It's so hard to pick my favorite song. It's like asking me to pick my favorite child but if I had to choose I'd say Greg.

See All the 2021 GRAMMYs Performances: Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars and More |

As the artists celebrated the best in music, accepted their GRAMMY Awards and gave heartfelt and inspiring speeches, a number of musicians took the stage to perform the best songs of the year.

From country crooners belting out their big hits to pop superstars showing off their impressive vocal skills and stage presences, this year's unique show also featured some of the most impressive numbers.

The 27-year-old kicked off the 2021 celebration, performing his sultry hit single, "Watermelon Sugar." Rocking a feather boa and a leather shirt , the singer crooned his way into everyone's heart with his commanding opening number.

The singer took the stage to perform "Everything I Wanted," accompanied by her brother, Finneas O'Connell, and a moody set design that included a car that appeared to be crashed into a swamp, which complemented the brooding undercurrents of the tune and Eilish's haunting vocals.

Leave it to this sister trio to tear down the house and bring the rocking energy with their performance of their Best Rock Performance-nominated track, "The Steps."

After a Best New Artist nomination last year, Black Pumas landed three nods at this year's GRAMMYs, including Record of the Year recognition for "Colors," which they performed at this year's show, proving just how soulful and impressive they truly are.

With a Gospel chior opening to their performance of their Record of the Year-nominated hit, "Rockstar," DaBaby and Roddy Ricch brought a new flair and sound to this performance of their acclaimed single.

The two Latin superstars delivered a spectacular performance of their chart-topper, "Dakiti," in a pink and blue neon-drenched number that was simply captivating.

Pretty in pink! The songstress kicked things off with a performance of "Levitating," rocking a pink ballgown, before she was joined by DaBaby, and the singer made a quick costume change into a glittery purple raincoat. Her second song, "Don't Start Now," brought out a third outfit -- a shimmering pink two-piece, which she danced in surrounded by pink-clad back-up dancers in English mod-inspired numbers.

Justin Bieber Drops New 'Peaches' Music Video With Release of New 'Justice'

Justin Bieber is giving fans a sweet treat. The pop singer dropped his sixth studio album, Justice , on Thursday evening, and released a new music video for his single "Peaches."

The stylish video -- which combines retro '90s vibes with super-modern color palettes -- features Giveon and Daniel Caesar alongside Bieber rocking an incredibly chic peach-colored suit.

"There's nothing like your touch / It’s the way you lift me up / And I'll be right here with you 'til the end," Bieber croons in the laidback ballad.

As for his long-awaited album, Justice , the new album contains Bieber's megahit singles "Holy," featuring Chance the Rapper, and "Lonely" with Benny Blanco.

Justice -- which also includes Bieber's singles "Anyone" and "Hold On" -- features a number of other big collaborations with artists including The Kid LAROI, Dominic Fike, Khalid, Beam, and Burna Boy.

Back in February, Bieber took to Instagram to share his upcoming album's cover art and reflected on the album title.

He added that he knows that he "cannot simply solve injustice by making music but I do know that if we all do our part by using our gifts to serve this planet and each other that we are that much closer to being united."

The new album release comes shortly after his wife opened up to Elle about their relationship . The 24-year-old model covers the publication's April 2021 issue and reflected on the two marrying young and the issues they've had to work through.

Hailey married Justin in September 2018 in a private courthouse ceremony in New York City. She acknowledged that while they chose to tie the knot very young, it was the right decision for them given how they both grew up.

Justin Bieber Shares the Story Behind His Favorite Tattoos | Vogue

And while Bieber's appreciation for tattoo art is well-known, less noted, perhaps, is the important role they have played in his evolution as both an artist and a person, whether reflecting his spiritual journey or the ongoing sonic shifts in his musical output. There's the title of his fourth album, Purpose, tattooed on his torso; there's also the treble clef and Japanese Kanji character for music found on his neck and right arm, respectively. Bieber's love for music has always informed the way in which he's decorated his body.

Yet while his tattoos may act as markers of his ever-evolving career as a musician, it's the more sentimental designs that resonate most strongly for Bieber. "The bear, which I got in New Zealand, represents rest," Bieber tells Vogue of the tattoo which sits under his right shoulder. "As tough and resilient as a bear is, it always hibernates, which is so important. We as humans go, go, and go without resting and it can leave us exhausted and drained." It's a relentless pace that Bieber is all too familiar with given his typically packed schedule, even if its one he's been able to press pause on over the last year.

"The lion I got done by the tattoo artist Bang Bang, and it represents having a heart of a lion," Bieber adds of the tattoo on the top-left of his chest. "Being bold, courageous, strong!'" It's one of several animal-inspired designs on Bieber's body—a fact probably unsurprising to true Beliebers, given the singer is a famous animal-lover with a menagerie of pets, from three rescue dogs to monkeys and Savannah cats. "I also love the bird on my neck that I got from Dr. Woo," Bieber continues. "It's a reminder to use the gifts God has given me and give it all I have—to fly above all of the bullshit."

Music Notes: Justin Bieber to Sting, new albums arrive for spring

While some current releases were recorded and wrapped pre-pandemic, others were crafted during the quietude of quarantine. (Mr. Harry Connick and Evanescence, take a bow.)

The rest of 2021 will undoubtedly serve a continued stream of fresh material, but here is what we're listening to now.

Loretta Lynn, "Still Woman Enough": It's rarefied air to reach your 50th album, but Lynn is the kind of national treasure who deserves every accolade. On this celebration of women in country music, the maven of the genre — who turns 89 in April — fits among the fiddles on the title track with Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood, two-steps with Margo Price on "One's on the Way" and sassily meshes with Tanya Tucker's whiskey-hued vocals for "You Ain't Woman Enough." She revisits "I'm a Honky Tonk Girl," "My Love" and "I Wanna Be Free" and, backed by a banjo, recites the lyrics to "Coal Miner's Daughter." It's a moving, folksy inclusion to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of the song and punctuate the career of this legend.

Justin Bieber, "Justice": The sixth studio album from the pop prince rankled some with his inclusion of snippets of Martin Luther King Jr. speeches. (The family expressed support of the usage). But getting mad at Bieber for expressing an interest in social justice is like screaming at a kitten — why? Sure, "Peaches" (with Daniel Caesar and Giveon) is Auto-Tuned into oblivion with eye-rolling lyrics that attempt to color Bieber as a tough guy. But when he embraces his strengths — that downy voice that swoons over the gentle pulse of "2 Much" and "Deserve You," the gliding "Off My Voice" and introspective "Lonely" — Bieber's continued appeal is evident.

Cheap Trick, "In Another World" (April 9): The opening blast of harmonies on "The Summer Looks Good On You" is an apt indicator of what the veteran rockers crafted for their 20th studio album. Robin Zander's voice, still a distinctive blend of velvet and grit, soars on "Quit Waking Me Up," its chorus soaked in horn-infused sunshine. "Boys & Girls & Rock N Roll" and "Light Up the Fire" re-establish the band's credibility with anthems powered by Rick Nielsen's guitar, while "Another World" serves as the lyrical backbone of the album.

Kings of Leon, "When You See Yourself": The band's eighth album and first since 2016. Trivia note –the first gig KOL played as a band was at Smith's Olde Bar.

The Fratellis, "Half Drunk Under a Full Moon" (April 9): Postponed since last year, the sixth album from the Scottish trio is a melodic rush of soulful pop.

Harry Connick Jr., "Alone With My Faith": The genre-hopping musician used COVID-19 downtime to huddle in his studio and record new songs as well as Christian hymns; he played every instrument and sang every note on all songs.

Justin Bieber's bid for song of the summer, and 4 other songs you need to hear this week |

What new Canadian tunes are you currently obsessed with? Share them with us on Twitter @CBCMusic .

Hit play on our brand new Songs You Need to Hear stream , filled with songs that CBC Music's producers have chosen for their playlists, and t une into CBC Music Mornings every Thursday to hear CBC Music's Jess Huddleston and Saroja Coehlo reveal the standout new Canadian song.

We got an early taste of "Peaches'' last week when Justin Bieber sang it for NPR's Tiny Desk series just days ahead of the release of Justice , his sixth studio album. While that Tiny Desk performance had Bieber singing solo, accompanying himself on keys and clad in a baggy T-shirt surely pulled from the bottom of his laundry bin, the version on the album and video is a polished amalgam of crisp production, well-cast collaborators and on-point fashion — Giveon's powder-blue moto jacket is a huge fit — that's destined for song-of-the-summer status.

This mid-tempo jam's chorus, which you hear seven times, is a sort of summer-fun checklist that includes the titular peaches, weed, a "chick" and light (or is it Light, as in God?). Bieber applies his bright, pliable timbre to it as well as the first verse, leaving room for Daniel Caesar and Giveon to each take a verse of their own with their warm, yet distinctive baritones. Caesar pulls pleasing new melodies from the chord changes, while Giveon's voice brims with urgency as he sings, "Done being distracted/ the one I need is right in my arms." — RR

With the sun shining bright and spring in full bloom, you need music that'll give you an extra bounce in your step. Enter Toronto rapper DijahSB's latest single, "Overtime" featuring fellow Torontonian artist Chris Castello. Much like the uptempo gems on their 2020 album, DijahSB is at their best when they bring an energy and flow that goes toe-to-toe with the track's vibrant beats. Here, warm synths set the scene accompanied by an airy riff, finger snaps and a drum beat that coalesce into something akin to the dancefloor stylings of Kaytranada. (Sidenote: a DijahSB and Kaytranada collaboration would be a dream and I would like to manifest this.) "Overtime" will be featured on DijahSB's upcoming release, Head Above the Waters , out April 23. — Melody Lau

Montreal's Sultan + Shepard's latest release, Something, Everything , is an uplifting safe room for your ears and spirit, a full-length place to get lost — and an impressive feat for a duo that has sonically shifted to melodic house after moving over to the label This Never Happened last year. Sultan + Shepard's second single, "Assassin," is a flex, showing how well they've made that transition. Opening with simple keys and a kick drum, the song builds to the 90-second mark, where the swelling resolves on the first lines: "Less a lover, more a fighter/ but I'm tired of fighting to hold on/ got too many scars to hide them/ so it's easier being on my own." That tone is no accident, as that's how the duo sees itself — and us — right now. From there, the track's melancholic feeling gives way, as many songs do, to love. It's a feeling that permeates the entire album and reminds us, like a warm embrace, that it's all going to be OK. — Ben Aylsworth
