Christie Brinkley is making a tiny string bikini her 2026 uniform amid her getaway to Turks and Caicos. The 71-year-old kept her micro swimwear streak going on Tuesday, modeling a plunging navy blue bikini paired with flirty, ‘70s-inspired crochet shorts.

Brinkley kicked off the new year with a sun-soaked getaway to the popular tropical destination, posing in a parade of swimwear styles that embraced the “less is more” ethos while soaking up some Vitamin D and tapping into her crafty side. And in a January 20 photo dump shared on Instagram , the model gave fans a closer look at her years-long beach project—a mirror embellished with shells and coral she'd been collecting over two decades of visits to Turks and Caicos—while showing off a brand new swimsuit.

Brinkley could be seen balancing on a wooden ladder while holding different corals in each hand, her shell-bedazzled mirror in the background. The Uptown Girl: A Memoir author flashed a big smile at the camera, showing off a navy blue string bikini top that she paired with high-waisted cream crochet shorts decorated with multi-colorful flower designs. A straw sun hat, black flip-flops, and a white dress shirt finished off her look. In a second photo, Brinkley ditched her shirt, hat, and sandals, instead showing off her bare back wearing nothing but her string bikini as she balanced on the wooden cabinet.
