WASHINGTON, April 6 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has wrested control of thousands of routers and firewall appliances away from Russian military hackers by hijacking the same infrastructure Moscow's spies were using to communicate with the devices, U.S.

Hackers breached Mailchimp to phish cryptocurrency wallets - The Verge

In a statement sent to The Verge , Mailchimp CISO Siobhan Smyth said that the company had become aware of the breach on March 26th when it detected unauthorized access of a tool used by the company's customer support and account administration teams.

"We sincerely apologize to our users for this incident and realize that it brings inconvenience and raises questions for our users and their customers," Smyth said. "We take pride in our security culture, infrastructure, and the trust our customers place in us to safeguard their data.

Hackers Distributing Fake Shopping Apps to Steal Banking Data of Malaysian Users

Threat actors have been distributing malicious applications under the guise of seemingly harmless shopping apps to target customers of eight Malaysian banks since at least November 2021.

The copycat websites impersonated cleaning services such as Maid4u, Grabmaid, Maria's Cleaning, Maid4u, YourMaid, Maideasy and MaidACall and a pet store named PetsMore, all of which are aimed at users in Malaysia.
