Carmella and Queen Zelina had held the tag titles since last November and it marks the third time Banks has held the tag titles after holding them with Bayley in 2019 and again in 2020.
The match at WrestleMania also featured Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley and Natalya & Shayna Baszler.

Unfortunate update on Alexa Bliss' WWE future following WrestleMania
WWE held its biggest event of the year over the weekend in Dallas, Texas. But one of their most popular Superstars, former RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss, wasn't on the show.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider , Bliss wasn't in Dallas for WrestleMania 38 weekend. But her influence was present in another way, as WWE recreated Alexa's Playground at WWE Superstore Axxess and allowed the WWE Universe to take photos in it.

The WWE Women's Tag Team championship wasn't defended on television in December of last year. After Carmella & Queen Zelina had one match for the belt in January, not only wasn't the title defended in February, but the champs didn't work any singles or tag bouts on Raw or SmackDown .

WWE Raw notes: Veer arrives, Women's Tag Title match on 4/11
Veer Mahaan appeared on the Raw after WrestleMania following a match between Dominik Mysterio and The Miz. Miz defeated Dominik in quick fashion and shortly after, Veer was making his way to the ring. Miz exited the ring which led to Veer taking out both Dominik and Rey Mysterio.
The WWE Women’s Tag Titles will be on the line next week. Sasha Banks and Naomi are scheduled to defend against Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. They defeated Rhea and Liv on tonight’s show in a championship contenders match.
