Nine-piece girl group TWICE concluded their sold out North American tour last weekend with a crowd-pleasing show in New York.
This tour was particularly special for the group as it kicked off Jeongyeon’s return from a brief hiatus to focus on her mental health. Seeing their recent tracks performed as nine was a treat for fans, who turned out in droves to see their favorite group hit the stage.

With the successful completion of the seven-date U.S. leg of the "III" World Tour, TWICE now becomes the first female K-pop act to hold two separate arena tours in the world's biggest music market.

Girl group TWICE carved a new record for K-pop artists who are breaking out in the U.S. market. The nine-member act became the first female K-pop act to hold two separate arena tours in the U.S. following their last show at the UBS Arena in New York on Feb. 27.
Their "III" world tour included multiple sold-out shows in Los Angeles, Oakland, Fort Worth, Atlanta and New York. Before this, the "Dance The Night Away" artists held three arena shows in the U.S.

Squid Game star Jung Hoyeon revealed in an interview with British magazine i-D that she's been a fan of K-pop groups Girls' Generation, 2NE1, and BIGBANG since her childhood days.
"I grew up in Seoul. When you grow up in Korea, I think you must be a huge fan of K-pop. I'm a huge fan of 2NE1, Girls' Generation, and BIGBANG. These are the groups that I've been huge fans of since childhood, I think," Hoyeon said.
