Carol Vorderman, 60, flaunts her incredible physique in skin-tight gym leggings and boots | Daily

And Carol Vorderman , 60, flaunted her incredible physique on Instagram Stories on Monday as she posed for a mirror selfie wearing some skin-tight gym leggings.

Taking to social media, she revealed to her 109,000 followers that she was heading straight to a meeting after a workout at the gym and had chucked some boots and a jumper on.

Despite the rushed outfit, Carol still looked flawless in the tiny patterned gym bottoms which left little to the imagination and showcased her toned pins.

Captioning the post, she wrote: 'Lazy bird has a meeting to go to now... still in my gym kit but just with a jumper and boots. #CantBeA****.'

Before the stunning selfie, Carol spoke to her followers with an enormous smile on her face as she skipped down the street.

It comes after Carol put on a very busty display last month as she headed for a night on the town.

Carol paired her shirt with a plunging black dress that she cinched at the waist with a white belt to offset her attire.

The return of Levi's: Why this American denim icon is back in the limelight - CNA

More than a year after working mostly from home, and going out less, many of us have gotten unspeakably bored with athleisure, loungewear or just plain ol' singlets and shorts.

At the same time though, we are not quite ready to embrace full-on dressing up yet – nothing too revealing, tight, stiff, starchy, formal, fussy or trendy, please, because that would make us want to run home and crawl back into our pyjamas.

That's probably the reason why the old school denim jean is back. They are safe, comforting and digestible, having been tried, tested and trusted for generations.

They've been around since Levi's created them in 1873 as a workmen's staple. By the 1930s, they had come to be considered an essential building block of any (male or female's) wardrobe.

They could be acid-washed, stonewashed, faded, whiskered, ombred, or dyed in any colour. Embellished, ripped, shredded, distressed, patchworked, embroidered upon.

They could come in low-, mid- or high-rises, with cuts that varied from ultra-skinny to skinny to straight to tapered to flared to bootcut to baggy.

Hemline options covered butt-cheek-baringly short Daisy Dukes to knee-length to capris to ankle-grazing and even floor-sweeping lengths.

They were super democratic in that they could be found anywhere from thrift stores to department stores to luxury boutiques, and at any price point ranging from a few bucks to several thousand dollars.

But no matter what denim trends came and went, and which jean brands rose and fell (you can bet that the Carhartt/Rag and Bone/Everlane/Madewell/Heron Preston millennials and Gen Zs would not believe how big labels like Gloria Vanderbilt, Jordache, Fiorucci, Sasson and Guess were in their heyday), old-school Levi's remained steadfastly unshakeable, a Rock of Gibraltar in the sea of denim.

Sharon Cuneta clarifies she never underwent plastic surgery: 'I still have my lines' |

Sharon Cuneta made it clear that she has not had any kind of plastic surgery on her face, but admitted she has undergone non-invasive skin treatments.

The actress made the statement while speaking with celebrity doctor Aivee Teo for the latter’s YouTube vlog on Saturday, June 5. Teo told Cuneta that she has been reading some positive feedback about the Megastar’s appearance, saying that netizens have noticed she “looks good.” ADVERTISEMENT

“No. The comment is I look younger. My face hasn’t changed. It really hasn’t,” Cuneta told Teo. She also clarified that plastic surgery had nothing to do with her appearance, with Teo backing her up.

Cuneta said she asked Teo to support her statement because netizens have been speculating that she underwent plastic surgery. She then noted that she still has wrinkles and lines that come with aging.

“People think [I had plastic surgery] and I still have those lines. I still have my lines,” she stressed. “So far, they (Teo’s clinic staff) just kept me tight, kept my skin from sagging my face and it’s been helping me fight gravity.”

Cuneta added that she has lost a lot of weight since she went to Teo’s clinic and they have helped keep her skin presentable to her audience despite the weight loss.

“I keep coming here for treatments to keep my skin tight. But when I lost weight, this is so important,” she stated, noting that the procedures are non-invasive.

Teo’s vlog was shot before Cuneta flew to the United States last month, after she lost a role in a Steven Spielberg film due to a false positive COVID-19 test result. JB ADVERTISEMENT

Tamzin Outhwaite: My brother was convinced I was on The Masked Dancer - but as Frog not Scarecrow

Tamzin Outhwaite's brother was convinced she was on 'The Masked Dancer' – but thought she was Frog.

The former 'EastEnders' actress was unmasked on the ITV guessing game as Scarecrow but whilst her sibling was completely convinced she was making an appearance, he thought she was under the Frog mask.

And whilst most of the other stars slimmed down during the experience, Tamzin confessed she put on weight because she was enjoying eating out every day when she went to the studios.

She added: "At Pineapple the choreographer and his team were there and it was so joyous at times, you just felt like, 'Oh my God'. But we couldn't get near each other. You've still got to dance a metre, two metres apart.

"But it was that feeling of, 'I can leave the house and I can't believe how ecstatic I feel just dancing', bearing in mind that we hadn't done anything for such a long time. I was probably the only one in the whole thing that actually put on weight. We're getting fit and every time I left the house to go there, I was like, 'This is a brilliant excuse to eat out.'"

She told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "The costume was really baggy. You couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl for a bit, and I think it was the right thing to do – not go skin tight or make it overly sexual, as then it might be more female. It was lovely to be so inconspicuous for most of the performances."

Helen Mirren's masterclass in dressing up in your 70s

The late, great Kate Spade once said, 'Dressing up begins at age five and never truly ends.' Quite right too, and defying any sort of slide into sensible slacks and muted colours is Helen Mirren , whose wardrobe choices show a woman in her eighth decade who knows what she likes and, better yet, likes how she looks.

The array of Bafta dresses on display last night were ten times more fun than the nude gowns we used to get in the past. Happy days. But if I could rifle through one celebrity's wardrobe for a summer of post-lockdown parties, it would be Mirren's.

Simple, right? But as we age, it's so tempting to go in the other direction: floaty dresses are wonderfully comfortable, while navy really does go with everything. Both those things will always be true - but I would argue that for a special occasion, outfits with a defined shape are more flattering. Bright colours, meanwhile, are often more youthful as they light up your face and make you look confident and playful.

The great thing about getting older is that by a certain age we usually understand what suits us. Mirren clearly likes to emphasise her small waist – so this means lots of hourglass dresses, skirts with a tight belt or bias-cut suits. She also loves jewel tones and ice cream shades, and the result is a number of outfits worth emulating for any upcoming weddings or big birthday parties.

Who said millennial pink was the preserve of millennials? Certainly not Helen Mirren who took this already eye-catching Lafayette 148 NY bubblegum pink suit and made it ten times more fashionable with clever styling.

The key with brightly coloured suits is to avoid looking like cabin crew (particularly in 2021 when flight attendants feel like mythical beasts from an enchanted past). Doing this means either swapping heels for sliders or trainers or – in Mirren's case – wearing the suit jacket open with a different coloured camisole underneath.

And boy did it work. The suit is flattering and fun, but it was the deep green Cami NYC silk top and Roger Vivier velvet heels that made the look a sensation. Bold David Webb jewels only added to it.

Her suit is available to order from the US, but British brand Me & Em does an equally stand-out version, while & Other Stories has some great options on the more affordable end of the scale. Her Roger Vivier shoes are in stock, otherwise copy the look at Hobbs .

Eye-catching occasion dressing this summer definitely doesn't have to mean baring too much skin – as Mirren proves here in this ankle-length, long-sleeved, high-necked Max Mara fuchsia poplin dress. The colour was already impactful, but was made even more so when accessorised with a blue and gold Sonia Petroff belt, Roger Vivier heels in the same deep pink, and a hair piece by Versace (which is easy to recreate with any silk scarf from home).

Nuala McCann: Here's to the abnormal normal we have become used to... - The Irish News

WE sat at Belfast’s Lock Keeper's Inn as the sun shone on bleached white cottage walls and clumps of midnight blue irises bruised the daylight.

Green leafy trees and a still river are easy to love. There’s a timeless quality about the old lock – the vivd green of duckweed on still water – the image of the huge dray horse.

At the cottage doorway the ghost of a mother lingers… shooing the children outside to play or calling them back in for tea. It was a small space to rear a family. My mother and her brothers and sisters grew up in a two-bedroomed house… eight in that space.

He took a raw egg with a dash of milk with his breakfast. He rested his pipe on a cream and orange china bowl on top of the dresser. That was long ago.

In the warm sunshine of this June day, my son and I sat near the Lagan towpath and ate out for the first time in a year-and-a-half.

Here’s to the abnormal normal. How you queue up at the window to give your orders, how you get a little buzzer that goes off when your food is ready, how everything is served on paper cups and plates and plastic cutlery.

Older retired types in fleecy jumpers because when you have weathered many storms then you know how the clouds can gather and are prepared.

The smell of coffee; the hum of an electric lawn mower; a ripple of laughter; a small dog’s bark.

After the food, we took the walk along the river on a path edged with the bridal frill of cow parsley and the sudden flash of bluebells.

Carrie Underwood Reveals Major Sweat In Electric-Blue Leggings - The Inquisitr

Scroll for the photos. They come as Carrie celebrates six years since the launch of her popular athleisurewear line, one that now forms an empire alongside 2020-released Find Your Path diet and exercise book, plus the star's Fit52 fitness app, also launched last year.

Carrie's Monday Instagram photos showed her both posing indoors amid rows of her clothing and, far more eye-catching, delivering a grass-set group workout with other women. The "Southbound" singer delivered a powerful and steady plank, plus a little confession.

The "Cry Pretty" hit-maker, looking rock-hard and healthy in skin-tight and electric-blue leggings, plus a ruched and light workout tank, smiled confidently as she kept comfy in sneakers, telling fans:

"Had a great time at the grand opening of @dickssportinggoods House of Sport in Knoxville and seeing the incredible @caliabycarrie section! Kudos to all the ladies who joined @eveoverlandfitness and me for a sweat session to celebrate. And boy did we sweat! 😅💪."

Carrie, who has faced backlash in the past over CALIA being somewhat-pricey, might see fans vow by her merch on account of its high quality, but some replying today were grumbling. "Too expensive and sizes are too small," one fan wrote, with another saying: "Why are your clothes so expensive."

Carrie tends not to reply to negative comments - or even positive ones - but she has spoken out about her brand.

Last year, and while speaking to Forbes , Carrie mentioned her apparel line, one that now retails everything from hold-all bags and jackets to bikinis .

"CALIA is one of those ways [to be creative], getting to go to virtual meetings and look at design elements and try to figure out what we're gonna do with that," she said; "I'm lucky that I have a lot of creative things that don't just rely on being on stage in front of people."
