Some call BTS' RM "Mr. President," others call him the " God of Destruction ." During one trip to Hawaii, RM gave himself another nickname — Porrnesian Parrapio. In fact, each of the BTS performers gave themselves new stage names during this "Bon Voyage" episode.
Even when they aren't performing in stadiums across the globe, the BTS idols are traveling together. Bon Voyage is a reality series featuring the BTS members as they traveled around the world. Each season featured a different location, the first being Northern Europe, the fourth being New Zealand.
As each season was released, episodes became available for purchase, although Episode 0 is available without purchased the season, according to BTS Fandom . The first season of this series premiered in 2016, just a few years after BTS' debut as a K-pop group.

Aloha! The second season of this series featured performers RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook in a new, tropical setting. This season aired on June 27, 2017, and took place in Hawaii.
For over 9 days, these performers traveled to Queen’s Marketplace, Four Seasons Hualalai Palm Grove, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and everywhere in between. During one meal, the BTS members decided to give themselves new names, according to a video .
J-Hope, of course, adopted the name J-Dope. Jin named himself Bread Genie and Jungkook said his name was Justin Seagull. J-Hope named Suga "Yeon Kimin." Jimin said his name was J-Move, as in "movement."
“That’s very tacky,” Suga said of Jimin’s name, according to a translation, to which the other members laughed. RM named himself "Porrnesian Parrapio," whatever that means.
Names like Bread Genie and Justin Seagull didn't stick, but the BTS members earned several nicknames from fans. RM became the "God of Destruction," Jungkook became the "Golden Maknae."
BTS Command 70% Of The Top 10 On The World Albums Chart

At this point, it's more common to see BTS sitting at No. 1 on the World Albums chart than not. The South Korean band usually leads the charge with whatever is their most recent release, and it's never their only placement on the tally...but their performance close to the top of the list this week is especially impressive.
This time around, BTS claim seven of the spots inside the top 10 on the World Albums chart, dominating 70% of the spaces inside the uppermost tier. That kind of domination is rare on any Billboard list, and it's even a little surprising for the septet.
Leading the way once again is Be , the group's latest project. The title has now spent 19 weeks at No. 1, and impressively, it's only been on the tally for 20 turns. Right behind Be comes Map of the Soul: 7 , which is also steady in the runner-up rung. In fact, the top four on the latest World Albums chart looks just as it did last period.
Two BTS titles, Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Her , swap spots with one another, with the former stepping up from No. 6 to No. 5, while the latter release does exactly the opposite. The only other release in that series, Love Yourself: Answer , is a non-mover at No. 7.
The sole BTS record that's currently present inside the top 10 on the World Albums chart that wasn't in that area last week is Skool Luv Affair , another relatively recent drop. The set lifts from No. 12 to No. 9 in its twenty-sixth frame on the tally.
The group's seventh title inside the highest tier on the World Albums chart this week is former champion Map of the Soul: Persona , which is comfortable at No. 10, where it ranked last week. BTS don't occupy any spots between No. 11 and No. 15 this week, as all of their bestsellers are taking up space in the loftiest reaches of the roster.

BTS: This Clue Suggests a Collab With Coldplay Is on the Way
BTS is loved and celebrated worldwide for its gorgeous vocals, stunning sounds, and precise dance moves. However, that doesn’t mean that Jin, V, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, and Jimin don’t admire other music artists in the industry. From their admiration of Jay-Z and BeyoncĂ© to Ariana Grande and Coldplay, the guys haven’t been shy about who they’d love to work with.
BTS has made it clear that they are huge Coldplay fans, even covering one of the band’s biggest hits recently. Now, the BTS ARMY is convinced that the band is set to do an entire collab with Coldplay.
During a press conference just before BTS's performance at Wembley Stadium V spoke about how much he loved the band. "For a long time, I have loved Coldplay and I have always enjoyed listening to their music. We turned on Coldplay when we got in the car in the UK. In the past, I had a chance to go to a Coldplay concert. If there's an opportunity, I would like to collaborate with Coldplay," V said according to The Korea Herald .
BTS showcased their love for Coldplay during their Feb. 23 appearance on MTV Unplugged . During the show, BTS covered the 2005 Coldplay hit, “Fix You.”
The British rock band absolutely loved BTS’ rendition of one of their most beloved songs, and they tweeted “Beautiful” in Korean, along with grey heart emojis at BTS. They also signed it “Love c, g, w & j.”
Now, it seems that the BTS ARMY has found evidence that BTS is about to do major collaboration with Coldplay.
It all begin when an engle-eyed ARMY member said they allegedly spotted Martin at Incheon Airport in South Korea on Friday, April 16 via Instagram . This caused the ARMY to begin spiraling. Since BTS is set to debut a new album in May and we know they are putting the finishing touches on it, it may be likely that Martin is in town to work with BTS.
However, some ARMY members are urging others not to get their hopes up. Martin also has a confirmed collaboration in the works with Korean singer Younha, who posted a selfie with the rock star on her Instagram .
Still, just because Matin is collaborating with Younha doesn’t mean a collaboration with BTS is totally off the table. We’ll just have to wait and see.

For the fifth week in a row, there's a new No. 1 hit in America, with one of the two artists credited on the track earning their first leader on the most competitive list in the country. Further down the ranking, several other new cuts waste no time in making their way to the chart, with one earning a specific and nice spot in the history books by appearing on the tally for even one frame.
As his new album Destined 2 Win debuts at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, matching his career high on the chart, Lil Tjay scores the second-loftiest start on the Hot 100 as well with new focus track "Run It Up," which credits both Offset and Moneybagg Yo as featured artists.
"Run It Up" is the third song from Destined 2 Win to reach the Hot 100. It's Tjay's ninth placement on the tally, Yo's tenth and Offset's twenty-first (not including the material he's released with his group Migos).
"Met Him Last Night" is Lovato's thirty-fifth Hot 100 win, while Grande has now appeared on the list with 69 tracks.
One frame ahead of what is sure to be near-total domination with the tracks featured on her new album Fearless (Taylor's Version) , the last promotional cut shared from the set ahead of its release opens fairly low on the Hot 100, though it will likely lift next week. "Mr. Perfectly Fine" debuts at No. 90, furthering Swift's lead among all female musicians with the most hits on the tally, as she has now sent 131 tunes to the roster.
How to Watch BTS' 'Bang Bang Con 21' Concert Event
“Bang Bang Con 21” will begin at 11 p.m. PDT on April 16 and 2 a.m. EDT and 3 p.m. KST on April 17. A total of three BTS concerts will be streamed for fans during the event.
Originally, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were supposed to embark on their Map of the Soul Tour in 2020. Because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the world tour was indefinitely postponed.
The septet introduced “Bang Bang Con” in 2020 to give fans some entertainment amid the pandemic. The first “Bang Bang Con” took place on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel on April 18, 2020, and April 19, 2020.
After receiving a nomination and performing at the 2021 Grammy Awards, BTS released a music video for their Japanese single “Film Out” on April 1. Their Japanese compilation album BTS, The Best will be released on June 16.
While nothing is confirmed, fans of BTS know the group is working on new music, making a comeback seem imminent. Typically, announcements from BTS are posted at midnight KST. Because of this, fans will be eagled-eyed for any announcements in the hours following the end of “Bang Bang Con 21.”
BTS Made $200 Million With Hybe.

What's the price tag for keeping a roster of global superstars happy these days? For Hybe Corp., more than $230 million, the value of shares the South Korean music juggernaut has pledged to BTS, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, in addition to more than $100 million the K-Pop sensation has earned from music sales and touring.
For Bang, who has a net worth of $2.8 billion, it's money well spent. BTS represented 87% of the KRW 290 billion ($260 million) Hybe reported for the first half of 2020. That reliance on one group is a key reason for Hybe's $1.05 billion purchase of Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings, which manages Grande and Bieber, and owns the record company, Big Machine Label Group that is home to Rascal Flatts, Sheryl Crow and Tim McGraw.

Grande's longtime partnership with Braun has paid off big. The 27-year-old pop star will receive 53,557 shares worth $12 million. Grande, who has the highest streaming numbers so far in 2021 of Braun's clients, got one of the two biggest artist payouts from Hybe. The company, which is trying to diversify its revenue beyond BTS, has reason to keep her happy. Grande was the highest-paid female musician on Forbes ' Celebrity 100 list in 2020, snagging the No. 17 spot with $72 million in pre-tax earnings.
Braun famously discovered Bieber on YouTube in 2008. Since then, the 27-year-old pop star has had eight No. 1 albums. He ranked No. 13 on Forbes ' Celebrity 100 list last year with pre-tax earnings of $83.5 million. Bieber is getting the same plum payout from Hybe as Grande, with 53,557 shares worth $12 million.

The "Prince of Reggaeton" had a massive 2020. He was the third-most-streamed artist in the world last year, according to Spotify. Balvin had the third-highest payout from Hybe of any of Braun's artists, after Bieber and Grande. He will get 21,423 shares worth $4.8 million once the deal goes through in May.
BTS Make History On The Japanese Streaming Chart With New Single 'Film Out'

BTS's new single "Film Out" has only been out for less than two weeks, but it's already become one fo the most successful songs in Japanese history, at least in one respect.
BTS's new smash is their second to rack up at least 10 million streams in Japan in just a single week. Last year, the seven-member vocal band's "Dynamite" achieved the same showing.
According to Oricon, BTS is now the first male act to manage this incredible feat twice, which speaks to their power and popularity in the country.
While they are primarily known for their output in their native tongue of Korean, BTS have expanded their offerings throughout their time together. They've been releasing Japanese albums and songs for some time now, and last year they officially dipped into English for the first time (at least entirely) with "Dynamite."
"Film Out" serves as the lead single (the only single, it seems) from the septet's upcoming compilation BTS, the Best , which is set to arrive in mid-June. The title will feature all of their biggest hits in Japanese, as well as the new cut...which does now rank among their best-performing tracks in that language.
BTS hit ‘Boy With Luv’ breaks 1.2 bln YouTube views – The Korea Times
The music video for the 2019 BTS hit “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)” has earned more than 1.2 billion views on YouTube in another milestone for the K-pop dynamo.
“Boy With Luv,” the main track for the seven-piece act’s sixth EP “Map of the Soul: Persona,” hit 1.2 billion views at 9:48 a.m. on Thursday, according to Big Hit Music, the group’s agency.
The upbeat track, featuring American singer-songwriter Halsey, debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s main singles chart and stayed on it for eight consecutive weeks.
The EP, which also includes hit track “Mikrokosmos” and “Make It Right” featuring British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, had hit the top spot on Billboard’s main albums chart, making BTS the first group since the Beatles to earn three No. 1s in less than a year.
BTS now has three music videos that have been watched more than a billion times. Its 2018 release “DNA” has earned 1.2 billion views, while Billboard-topping hit “Dynamite” recently broke 1 billion views.
