Shania Twain rewears Man! I Feel Like a Woman! outfit | Entertainment | crowrivermedia.com

Shania Twain has re-worn her 'Man! I Feel Like a Woman!' outfit in a recent TikTok video after more than 20 years.

The 55-year-old singer donned a black bustier mini dress, white jacket, thigh-high velvet boots and a black top hat for the original music video in 1999 and has now whipped out the ensemble for a TikTok video.

The video begins with a clip from the classic promo, showing off the outfit before cutting to a modern-day Shania wearing an identical outfit.

She had swapped a few details from the original outfit by adding some fishnet tights, bright red lipstick and a silk choker with teardrop gems.

A number of fans praised the country singer in the comments, with one writing: "Amazing!!! To be able to fit into your original outfit. (sic)"

Meanwhile, the 'That Don't Impress Me Much' hitmaker has slammed the world's "sexist point of view", as she admits she was criticised a lot in her career but she has insisted she has definitely "managed" to get her own way over the years.

She said: "You're not really allowed to be too pretty or too sexy or too anything, expressively, as a woman. I think that's a very sexist point of view ... I managed to get my way. Making the album is one thing but after the album is released, the work keeps going on."

Shania Twain, 55, reveals she can STILL get into her Man! I Feel Like A Woman!

But Shania Twain has revealed she is still able to fit into the skimpy outfit she first modeled in the music video all the way back in 1999.

The 55-year-old posed up a storm for Instagram this Thursday in the same black corset and matching miniskirt she modeled all those years back for the racy video.

Then and now: Shania Twain has revealed she can still fit into the ultra-tight outfit she first modeled in the Man! I Feel Like A Woman! music video all the way back in 1999

While Shania donned a similar jacket to the one she sported in the video, this one appeared to be shorter and thinner.

The hitmaker finished the fun look with an elaborate choker with tassels that did not feature in the iconic video.

However she was still wearing the throwback chic black opera gloves and matching top hat that fans of her music video will remember.

In the video Shania posted to Instagram, the star intercut clips of herself reprising the outfit with highlights of the original video.

The last detail: However the white jacket she chose for her new look appeared to be shorter and thinner than the one from the original music video

Incidentally: Shania made a couple more changes to the look by clasping on an elaborate choker with tassels that did not feature in Man! I Feel Like A Woman

PICTURES: Shania Twain Shows off New Puppy | CMT

Shania Twain’s family is growing! The “You’re Still The One” singer recently shared a sweet snapshot of her family’s new puppy, which they named Camper.

Twain’s timing was perfect, as she celebrated National Pet Day on Sunday (April 11) by sharing a photo on Instagram of herself snuggling with her fluffy new pup in front of a stunning lake setting.

"Introducing Camper!! Expect A LOT of puppy videos from here on out," she captioned the photo, complete with a heart eyes emoji.

Twain, of course, is well known for her love of animals. During last year’s ACM special event Our Country , Twain performed acoustic renditions of her hits including “Honey I’m Home” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” while from a horse stable on her home property. One of her horses even stole the show as it nuzzled her while she performed.

In October 2020, Twain celebrated the 25-year anniversary of her album The Woman in Me by releasing a three-CD box set Diamond Edition of the project.

Released in 1995, the album contained “Any Man of Mine,” Twain’s first chart-topping country single. The album also contained hits including “You Win My Love,” “No One Needs to Know” and “(If You’re Not In It for Love) I’m Outta Here!” By the end of 1995, the album had sold 4 million copies. By 1996, the album surpassed Patsy Cline’s Greatest Hits to become the best-selling album by a female country artist—a feat that Twain’s 1997 followup project, Come On Over, would claim in 1999. By 1997, The Woman in Me had earned Diamond Status for shipments of 10 million copies, and has now sold an estimated 20 million copies.

Shania Twain Wears 'Man I Feel Like a Woman' Outfit | Billboard

Shania Twain attends the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards at Staples Center on Jan. 26, 2020 in Los Angeles.

Shania Twain celebrated the 20th anniversary of her legendary "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" video by slipping into the clip's iconic outfit again.

"Same outfit, 20 years apart! #letsgogirls," the 55-year old country singer captioned the TikTok video, in which she throws back to the fishnet stockings, silky mini dress covered by a white jacket, black gloves and veiled black top hat look.

The brief clip kicks off with the 1999 original as she sings, "The best part about being a woman/ Is the prerogative to have a little fun," before the scene shifts to today, with a smiling Twain showing off the classic look, now accented by a beaded black choker.

Twain has been in a reflective mood lately, reminiscing in February on an episode of her Apple Music Home Now Radio show about how Britney Spears' Las Vegas residency inspired her own. "'Hit me baby one more time.' Oh yeah. Britney Spears," the country-pop icon mused. "I don't sound like her, but I sing along to her records."

She said she saw Spears perform a couple of times during her first residency  Britney:  Piece of Me  from 2013 to 2017 at the Zappos Theater, where Twain ended up for her second residency  Let's Go!  starting in 2019. "I loved the room. I thought her show was great and I was motivated to get on that same stage, so her show inspired me a lot. It was a fantastic show," the "You're Still the One" singer added.

Shania Twain ‘Will Be Calling’ Nick Jonas Soon To ‘Make Some More Music’

Twain signed onto the latest episode of “Home Now Radio” on Apple Music. During the conversation, the five-time Grammy-winner touched on a team-up with the youngest Jonas brother (excluding Frankie Jonas).

“If you’re a Jonas Brother, you must feel cool all the time. Right?” Twain dished. “Like I would think so. Anyway, I don’t know, but they are cool. Now I would consider Nick Jonas, a friend of mine. He is a sweetheart, and you know, we’ve crossed paths a couple of times.”

“We’ve done some things together, musically, and you know, it’s just a fun, cool friendship that we’ve got, and I look forward to doing more together,” she continued. “So Nick, I will be calling out to you soon so we can get together and make some more music. How about that? That would be so cool, wouldn’t it?”

“This family band is fabulous. It’s a fabulous family band. I love these guys. These girls are superb musicians and they are excellent songwriters,” the Canadian legend gushed. “Talented show women and great singers with a beautiful, beautiful family blend. I was so flattered to be on their radio show. They also have an Apple Music radio show, which is so cool.”

“We chatted and had a few great laughs. Just talked music and reminded each other how much we wanted to get together and make music together,” she concluded. “And we will do that.”

Olly Alexander That Don't Impress Me Much cover impresses Shania Twain | Metro News

The 30-year-old had a fanboy moment when country legend Shania tweeted to say she had listened to a clip of his cover of her hit That Don't Impress Me Much on BBC Radio 1 – and host Greg James is just as excited.

After getting into the swing of things, he decided to try out Shania Twain's 1999 hit That Don't Impress Me So Much, and broke out into giggles as he tried to get the key right and uttered the immortal line: 'OK, so you're a rocket scientist.'

On Tuesday's Radio 1 Breakfast Show, Greg James played snippets from the concert, including his Shania cover, and said: 'He's one of those people you need at a party, who you're slightly jealous, because they can get on the piano and just play any song.'

Well, it seems that Shania, 55, tunes into the breakfast show, because she tweeted: '@gregjames @BBCR1 I heard @alexander_olly's version of don't impress me on your show the other day! Loved it! He's a gorgeous singer.'

She's not impressed by rocket scientists, cars or Brad Pitt, but this has done it, and needless to say, everyone involved is freaking out.

Greg tweeted: 'SORRY WHAT', before sharing a picture of him cuddling his dog reading: 'Shania Twain tweeted me and then I got p***ed. Don't expect too much from tomorrow morning.'

Olly quote-tweeted Shania's post and wrote: 'OMG THANK YOU SHANIA !!!! this is a starstruck moment ur amazing x.'

His It's A Sin castmate Omari Douglas replied: 'OMG', while Radio 1 producer Chris Sawyer tweeted: 'SHANIA! Yes yes! @alexander_olly is the best! And also… what?!? You listen to @gregjames???!! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOONER. You know he's got the brains AND he's got the touch?'

Amazon's Echo Buds have real active noise cancellation this time

Amazon's Echo Buds didn't impress us much in 2019, to paraphrase Shania Twain. Now, the empire that Jeff Bezos built is back with a second attempt at in-house wireless earbuds slated for this spring. And they might be what we were looking for the first time around.

Oh, and they'll be launching in May for the competitive prices of $120 for a USB-C charging model and $140 for a new wireless charging model.

Apple's standard-bearing AirPods Pro with ANC were $250 at launch just a year and a half ago, so the price difference here is pretty stark. Of course, until we get our hands on the new Echo Buds, we can't guarantee that the ANC works or the sound quality is any good, among every other worry one might have about Amazon-produced earbuds.

Of course, the new Echo Buds are also fully Alexa-powered, so you can use voice commands to ask for directions, find out how much battery is left (Amazon promises five hours of playback with ANC turned on), and even make the earbuds loudly chime in case you can't find them.

A size reduction and the inclusion of real ANC are both welcome additions to the new Echo Buds, at least on paper. If the new Echo Buds can actually deliver on quality at launch, it could be a big win for a company that already wins all the time anyway.
