"Eyeshadow Palette celebrates the ever-changing colors we reflect every day❤️," the account wrote alongside a stunning video of Gomez:
She added: "I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I'm so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album it'll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire music."
Selena Gomez credits gay people with helping launch her music career
In an interview with GRAMMY.com about the launch of her latest EP, the Spanish-language Revelación , the pop star reflected on her second single, “Naturally,” released in 2009, which helped kickstart her music career.
At the time, Gomez was most widely known for her portrayal of Alex Russo on Disney Channel's hit series Wizards of Waverly Place .
But after “Naturally” launched, Gomez credited LGBTQ people with helping push the song — which ultimately ended up going 4x platinum.
“I remember when it was released, it truly started getting played in gay bars before anywhere else,” Gomez said. “I would hear from older friends that they heard it when they went out. I was so jealous that I was too young to be out and dancing to it with everyone.”
Asked about her support for the LGBTQ community, Gomez said she hoped her LGTBQ fans “hear in my music the importance of self-love and the strength that comes through vulnerability.”
“The LGBTQ+ community has been there for me and I don’t take them for granted,” she said. “Growing up in Texas, I remember when I was a kid, my mother had a group of gay friends and I loved being around them. There was no talk about anyone being ‘different.’ It was all pure and genuine love for one another and I’ll never forget that.”
Echoing her close friend Taylor Swift 's outspoken support for the Equality Act , a landmark piece of LGBTQ rights legislation, Gomez urged lawmakers to finally pass it and protect LGBTQ people from discrimination.
"We’ve come a long way in the last 10 years, but we have so much further to go,” she said. “The Senate must pass the Equality Act. It’s absurd that this is even being debated in 2021.”

Selena Gomez Says She's Come To Terms With 'Bipolar' Diagnosis
Selena Gomez has remained a sensation in and out of the industry and while she has her ups and down, she just keeps getting better.
The Disney actor turned musician, is one of the strongest female competitors in the music industry and when it comes to her career, she has soared to great heights.
Now, Gomez is doing very well for herself and her music career has seen its best days continuously.
Since the pandemic began, Gomez has found several ways to improve and engage herself, which is as opposed to sitting at home all day.
One of such activities includes cooking. The singer posts photos of herself in the kitchen with lined-up ingredients and sometimes, she has a backup chef to guide her.
The lockdown also helped Gomez usher in amazing projects like a collaboration with Asian girl band, "BLACKPINK."
A few months ago, Gomez was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Also, she has battled with other illnesses like lupus and a need for a kidney transplant.
To some, these were some of the most difficult parts of the "When The Sun Goes Down" singer, however, for her, these were trial periods that only made her come out stronger.
During a recent discussion with "Vogue Magazine," Gomez said that when she heard the news of her diagnosis, she was somewhat relieved.
'Selfish Love Challenge': Watch Selena Gomez's Video | Billboard
DJ Snake never stood a chance. Selena Gomez answered, and then quickly declared a decisive, casual victory in the pair's "Selfish Love" TikTok challenge.
The singer posted her entry in the challenge on Tuesday afternoon (April 6), in which she took a simple, chill spin in a stylist's chair while wearing grey sweats and a white long-sleeve shirt, with a casual hair flip as her dog looked on from the floor.
Snake gave it a shot, though, with his own earlier challenge clip, in which he started out in an all-white outfit while seated in a chair inside a gold-dipped room and then hopped up in a black outfit after a spin and a glanced in the mirror at his fly look.
The pair recently dropped the hair care-themed video for the song from Gomez's new bilingual EP, Revelación. The dynamic duo's second team-up debuted at No. 6 on the Hot Latin Songs survey dated March 20.
Best Albums March 2021: Lana Del Rey, Selena Gomez, Rod Wave - Rolling Stone
Revelación is not the Mexican-American singer’s first stab at recording music in Spanish. A decade ago, she released Spanish versions of her hits a “A Year Without Rain” and “Who Says.” She also recorded a posthumous duet with her namesake, Tejana legend Selena Quintanilla. Gomez became a force in Latin music in 2018 from her feature on DJ Snake’s global smash “Taki Taki” with Cardi B and Ozuna. While there isn’t anything as explosive as “Taki Taki” on Revelación , Gomez finds her groove among the reggaetón beats thanks to one of the genre’s innovators, Puerto Rican producer Marco “Tainy” Masís. On the Latin side, he’s worked with heavy-hitters like Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin, and on the pop side with Dua Lipa and Justin Bieber. Gomez is at the perfect intersection of both lanes and Tainy masterfully merges the two together. L.V.
24KGoldn , the 20-year-old San Francisco rapper-singer born Golden Von Jones, has big Gen Z tween-idol energy. Maybe the biggest: What other cherubic, shortie-courting rising star can claim a TikTok -powered Billboard Hot 100 Number One? Among the self-styled scrubs in his orbit, the face-tat-free 24KGoldn is the one most likely to pass muster with the girls in the group text. On El Dorado , his debut full length, he can be as sunny as he can be sad, and his romantic preoccupations are more about making relationships work than resenting the ones he lost. Like any outwardly nice young man, he veers from charming to anodyne to horny, sometimes in the same verse, and he’s more eager than he is self-assured or sharply defined. N.C.
In 2002, country music legend Loretta Lynn released her memoir Still Woman Enough , reflecting on her journey out of hardscrabble Kentucky and into stardom, with all the triumphs and tragedies between. That book and Lynn’s story gives her new album its title as well as its lone new original song, an affirmation of feminine strength and resilience that she shares with guests Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood. Produced by John Carter Cash and Lynn’s daughter Patsy Lynn Russell (who also co-wrote the title tune), the project features Lynn’s interpretations of classic country songs from the Carter Family and Hank Williams alongside a handful of traditional tunes and Lynn’s own iconic hits, plus multiple generations of guests who were inspired by her work. Singer-songwriter Stevie Knipe has been making music for close to a decade, since they were a college student in upstate New York recording in a dorm room. But Knipe (who uses they/their pronouns) has really taken a leap forward in terms of both sonics and songcraft with the excellent Driver . While previous Adult Mom albums had a spare, bedroom-recording feel, Driver is more of a band album, with bright production and songs that carefully and vividly map out an early-twenties travelogue full of crisis, memory, hope, and the kind of intense moments that feel almost debilitatingly hard-hitting at that age — even if you’re just starting to become wise enough to know they’re ephemeral. Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Body And Looks Comparisons
"I think when you're going through a situation where you just have so many people hounding you with the same thing over and over and over again, it starts to mess with your mind, and then you start to question everything," she continued.
"You're like, 'Is there something that I'm not seeing that they see? Maybe they're right.' It got to such a low point for me that I was like, 'Honestly, maybe I'm delusional.' It's like separating two realities, essentially."
She said, "One of the things that I found really helpful to me was I started doing something where I don't go on Instagram Monday through Friday."
"I don't even have a Twitter anymore, because there was never really a time I'd go on there that I didn't feel like it was a very toxic environment," she added. "The thought of even opening the app gives me such bad anxiety that I feel like I'm gonna throw up."
After seeing the video, Justin called the fan a "sad excuse of a human" and revealed the couple were receiving similar comments on a daily basis.
"I am grateful for the response that the song is getting. I'm so grateful," she said at the time. "However, I do not stand for women tearing women down and I will never, ever be by that."
She added: "Please be kind to everyone. It doesn't matter what the situation is; if you're my fans, don't be rude to anybody, please. Don't go off and say things that you just feel in the moment."
