When new mum Jessie Haylock was struggling with breastfeeding she found it wasn't talked about enough.
Now, the New Plymouth woman is baking and selling lactation biscuits, bars and bliss balls in a range of flavours through her business The Boob Batch, to help support other mums.
"People don't talk about how challenging breastfeeding can be. It's a natural thing that doesn't come naturally to everybody," she said.
Haylock found breastfeeding challenging and struggled with pain and exhaustion, which she said was all too familiar for many mums, until she found lactation products.
