Rosamund Pike compares her characters in I Care a Lot and Gone Girl | EW.com
"I do think they would be two interesting women to get in a room together," the actress says. "I don't think they would like each other very much at all."
Rosamund Pike knows the comparisons between her characters in I Care a Lot and Gone Girl are inevitable, and she welcomes them.
For anyone who's seen the two films, the parallels between the scheming ladies are evident, and Pike says she loved getting back to this sort of role. "I certainly enjoyed returning to the stage where I can enjoy darkly and sort of satirically shocking people, I suppose," she tells EW. "I do think they would be two interesting women to get in a room together. I don't think they would like each other very much at all."

"Run faster, girls!" jeered a 50-something man as we jogged along.

There's a secret trend afoot in the UK which requires elucidation: in lockdown, we girls have looked down and decided to quarantine our tiny pants and say 'hello, old friend' to cheek-covering, snuggly granny-knickers.
Don't just take my word for it, the retail statistics back me up: searches for 'comfy' and 'high-waisted' underwear went up a whopping 46 per cent in December, while those at the polar opposite ends of the underwear market — Marks & Spencer and Agent Provocateur — are finding some surprising common ground, as customers' tastes move firmly towards the ample.
