Holmgren, other top boys still undecided as girls make their choices - StarTribune.com

The state's and nation's most highly coveted prep big man, Minnehaha Academy 7-foot senior center Chet Holmgren, will remain a hot commodity on the boys' basketball circuit when the NCAA early signing period gets underway Wednesday.

The versatile and athletic Holmgren narrowed his college possibilities to seven — Minnesota, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Memphis, Michigan, North Carolina and Ohio State — back in June. He remains undecided about his future destination.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Premiere Recap, Episode 1

And good lort it is ever a gift. We dive right in with a sizzle reel of what's to come — Andy Cohen doesn't want you thinking for one second this might be a snoozefest. Salt Lake City, Utah, has rounded up its most holy and housewife-ian, and they came to play. There's screaming and titties, drone shots and actual shots, mountains and mansions, and at least four different tabernacle choirs. It is a damn mess.

We're quickly ushered into a 15 Minute Botox Parking spot at Beauty Lab & Laser, the business Heather Gay has built into a $20M empire even though she started at nothing. I'd love to see these receipts for "nothing," as Heather is purebred, pedigreed, pioneered Mormon royalty who was previously married to the grandson of Howard Hughes's driver and henchman.

'Gansett girls tennis gets two wins Wednesday, earns trip to Slater Park

SOUTH KINGSTOWN — At 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, the Narragansett girls tennis team boarded a bus from the high school for a short trip to The Prout School for their Division II quarterfinal playoff match.

At 4:08 p.m., the Mariners walked from the Prout courts toward that same bus one win away from a Division II title.

It wasn't a conventional way to earn a trip to the D-II championship match, but this is 2020. In the morning, the Mariners beat the Crusaders, 4-0, in a match that had already been postponed twice. Narragansett rested, snacked, hydrated, stretched and when Cranston West arrived for its "home" match in the D-II semifinals, 'Gansett took care of business, beating the Falcons, 4-1.

3 Visitors Banned From Yellowstone After Cooking Chickens in Hot Spring - The New York Times

It was supposed to be a fun family summer trip to Yellowstone National Park. Two cousins, a neighbor and their families packed two chickens, canoed about eight hours and hiked to the Shoshone Geyser Basin , where they decided to cook their chickens in a hot spring.

The three, Eric Romriell, 49, and Eric Roberts, 51, both of Idaho, and Dallas Roberts, 41, of Utah, were among a group that a park ranger found after receiving reports of people hiking with "cooking pots" toward the basin on Aug. 7, Ms. Veress said.
