Megan Thee Stallion continued her hot streak Saturday night with her debut on S NL . Not only did she appear in a very timely pre-recorded sketch early in the show that dealt with the trouble with meeting someone in the time of COVID-19. But for most fans, it was the music that they were interested in seeing.
The SNL appearance follows a week of great success for the breakthrough rapper. Megan was nominated for eight BET Hip Hop Awards, four E! People's Choice Awards and a nomination for Top Rap Female Artist at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards according to Billboard . She also released her latest video for her collaboration with Young Thug titled "Don't Stop." The video is her second production with Colin Tilley, the director behind the wild video for Megan's team-up with Cardi B, "WAP.

Congratulations are in order for rapper Nicki Minaj after giving birth to her first child with her husband, Kenneth Petty.
The rapper's mother, Carol Maraj, confirmed the news on her Instagram, saying "Thank you Lord for blessing my daughter @nickiminaj with a beautiful bundle of joy! You have always been a blessing to myself and your family, and now you have received one of the best Blessings from God."
She also quoted the bible verse, Psalm 127:3: "Children are a gift from the Lord. They are a reward from Him."

Lakeside's freshman Rams football team moved to 6-0 on the season with a 55-20 rout of El Dorado at Chick Austin Field.
The freshman Rams' starting defense allowed just one first down in the game. Mason Nguyen had a fumble recovery, Zayne Garrett had multiple tackles, Mack Story forced several pass breakups, and Howard had one interception.
Both the eighth- and ninth-grade teams will travel to Texarkana next Thursday to resume conference play.

Chelsea Romine called law enforcement on Aug. 13 after her grandparents were in an accident while trying to feed their cattle that made them unable to move.
Romine’s grandmother gave her the phone and she went on top of a hill to get enough reception to call for help.
Their farm was in a remote location but Romine stayed calm and on the phone with the dispatchers until they were able to get to the location.
The farm was on a 300-acre piece of land that nobody in the Sheriff’s Department had ever been to before, according to Chief Deputy Brian Hickman.
