"This year, not only are guests able to maximize their play time in our game rooms, but they can also join us at home for our first-ever online game-a-thon, benefitting our charity partner, Boys & Girls Clubs of America," said CMO of CEC Entertainment, Sherri Landry . "We're eager to host this virtual event and use our online presence for a great cause."

No fishing bug for Robinson just chilling out playing video games | Sports | swoknews.com
Over the years this writer has interviewed hundreds of linemen and their choices of food ranged from thick steaks to fried chicken.

"I don't know but that's something I've learned to love," the 5-11, 245-pound senior tackle said. "I love those spring rolls and just about anything else on those menus. It's probably healthier than what most linemen eat."
Robinson, who also plays defensive end for the Bulldogs, says that this has been a key week for his team since they will play their first home game Friday against Plainview, a much tougher task than their 47-0 victory over Altus last week.
Video game 'Raji: An Ancient Epic' takes you to ancient India - Los Angeles Times
I played an hour of "Raji: An Ancient Epic" before I stopped and restarted. While it's not uncommon for players to reboot a game after learning its basic controls, that wasn't what made me want to begin again. "Raji: An Ancient Epic" reminded me of a sensation I hadn't thought about much during the pandemic: the feeling of exploring and discovering a new place.
Its tale of a young woman rescuing her brother from forces of the underworld can be told with many backdrops across numerous cultures. But "Raji: An Ancient Epic," a labor of love that was often a struggle to get made by its small team, has a rather specific design intent. Beyond asking players to tackle its demon-like monsters with acrobatic fight moves, the game seeks to highlight a place — ancient India — and the culture it birthed.

Are video arcades more dangerous than casinos during a pandemic?
Casinos and video arcades, both of which feature rows of electronic games that people use in close proximity to each other, pose similar risks of COVID-19 transmission. Yet, in Massachusetts, casinos have been open for two months, while video arcades remain closed under an order that Gov. Charlie Baker originally issued in March.
Like many of the distinctions drawn by the COVID-19 lockdowns that all but a few governors imposed last spring, this one makes no medical sense. A federal lawsuit filed last week argues that Baker’s discrimination against video arcades is unconstitutional because it is scientifically indefensible.
EA Sports apologizes after fans decry ads in UFC video game - The Washington Post
EA Sports has apologized for putting in-game advertisements into the recently released "UFC 4" after the latest update's excessive pop-ups prompted a wave of outrage.
While intrusive, unskippable advertisements can be common in free-to-play games, users pointed to UFC's $60 price tag as reason enough they should not have their gameplay interrupted by ads, especially when there are already some present via in-game signage.
Their sentiments were echoed in thousands of comments on the initial Reddit post. By Saturday, EA Sports posted a statement in reply.
