As NBA returns, so must an NBA writer in early hot spot - StarTribune.com

The schedule in New York was as good as I could remember in my years covering the NBA for The Associated Press. Superstars Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden would be here. So would the NBA champion Toronto Raptors and 1970 champion Knicks, for a 50th anniversary celebration.

And with NCAA Tournament games at Madison Square Garden, I was going to cover March Madness for the first time since writing for UConn's Daily Campus in 1995 when the Huskies won their first women's title.

Indianapolis Children's Museum opens Barbie traveling exhibit

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis has once again brought in a haul of Barbies. And no matter when you visit, they'll be working their day jobs.

An astronaut, programmer, race car driver, violinist, architect, polar marine biologist and photographer are among those decked out in their professional gear, waiting to make sure girls know how to bust the glass ceiling.

"Barbie You Can Be Anything: The Experience" opened yesterday opens Saturday to the public and is open now to members. It follows the museum's popular 2009 fashion-focused exhibit on the doll, and it's the fourth time the institution has joined up with children's entertainment company Mattel.

Canada's Drag Race Episode 2 Recap: 'Her-Itage Moments'

Welcome back to my Jimbo fandom Tumblr page! Let's muff-dive right into it. After Lemon made lemonade out of her first lip-sync and sent Juice Boxx packing in the last episode , Kyne is already serving levels of delusion not seen since Jinkx Monsoon bottled and sold it .

For the mini-challenge, Brooke Lynn Hytes plays off her own ballet background and has the girls get into ballerina quick drag to dance it out in "The Nutsmacker." This mini-challenge finally helped me figure out the appeal of BOA: I wasn't quite sure if she was intentionally serving Blind Melon bee girl or if that's just how BOA … is. It's that central tension between self-awareness and maybe-not-so-much that makes for the most watchable Ru girls.

Hot Property: Writer-designer duo lists Hollywood Hills home - Los Angeles Times

Screenwriter-producer Jhoni Marchinko and her partner, interior designer Antonia Hutt, have listed their longtime home in the Hollywood Hills for sale at $3.895 million.

Hedged and gated from the street, the 1920s Spanish-style house was reimagined by Hutt as a spa-like setting. Features include a traditional Norwegian sauna, an outdoor rain shower and a 45-foot saltwater lap pool. Draped cabanas, fountains and an outdoor dining area shaded by olive trees further the experience.
