(AP) Attendees of an annual Delaware parade that was criticized last year for parodying the border crisis say this year's performance was bland and smaller than usual.
The News Journal of Wilmington reports the Middletown parade went smoothly Wednesday, when hundreds of people lined the streets to watch marchers parody last year's news.
More than 50 protesters with signs decrying racism were also in attendance. Some attendees said this year's parade sucked and was funnier in previous years before the 2019 display of caged migrant children.
