Kathy Ireland, Pacific Coast Lighting celebrate years of success | Home Accents Today

California-based Pacific Coast Lighting has been manufacturing portable lighting since 1979. About halfway through its 40-year run, PCL teamed up with design and licensing partner Kathy Ireland, forging a successful business relationship that will continue until at least 2022, according to their most recent contract extension.

In October, Ireland traveled to High Point to join PCL executives, staff and customers for several showroom events commemorating the company's 40th year. Clark Linstone, PCL's president, said he felt High Point offered a "great opportunity" to celebrate the anniversary milestone, with "partners and customers who have been so instrumental in our decades of success."

But she’s staying optimistic, since she added, “So it’s just going to take some time. That’s all.” So, after some time has passed, will Christie compete on the  DWTS  stage?

Halima Aden battles critcism after burkini, hijab in SI Swimsuit | SI.com

After becoming the first woman to wear a hijab and burkini in the SI Swimsuit issue, Halima Aden is receiving critcism from all angles, but she's looking beyond the backlash and staying true to herself.

Bothered? Sitting inside the lobby of a lower Manhattan hotel on Wednesday, a sleek white coat covering her slender shoulders, a brown scarf wrapped around her head, Aden could only laugh. Fifteen years ago, Aden was a resident of Kakuma, a refugee camp in northwestern Kenya, her family fleeing the horrors of the Somali civil war. At times, she didn't know when her next meal would come. And too many times she knew when a bout with malaria would.

#SISwimSearch Sweet 17: Meet Kathy Jacobs | SI.com

S ports Illustrated: Did you have experience modeling before submitting an IG video or showing up in-person for #SISwimSearch?

Kathy Jacobs: I was a petite model in the 80s for FORD Models–I was fighting for inclusiveness in the modeling industry over 30 years ago! I recently contacted my old agent, who is now with Icon Focus (models over 40), and she said clients only want tall models. So the modeling industry is now becoming more inclusive for older models...but only if they are tall.

Skier Lindsey Vonn is back for her third SI Swimsuit shoot | SI.com

She's back!! Lindsey Vonn is returning to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, and we couldn't be more excited.

The skier made her SI Swimsuit debut back in 2010, bravely rocking bikinis in the cold weather of Whistler, Canada. Who could forget those iconic shots on a snow-covered mountain ?

Six years later, she ditch the swimsuits and posed in nothing but body paint for the 2016 issue of the magazine. Perhaps you remember Lindsey doing pre-shoot pull-ups in just her body paint and a pair of heels. She really is the definition of strong AND sexy.

Ashley Graham on the Challenges of Being Pregnant and Loving Her Body

Just speaking to Ashley Graham on the phone makes you feel sexier. The way her voice slips into a southern twang when she talks about her curves (she was the first curvy model to land a Sports Illustrated  swimsuit cover or a major cosmetics deal) or how she says she likes her lips to look "super juicy." I hung up after our chat and practically strutted back to my desk.

"In some regard, there could be pressure to feel confident, but I've always kept how I feel 100 per cent authentic with my fans. Just recently, I posted a photo of myself from the side and I said, 'Same same but a little different,' and it was just about how my body has been changing through pregnancy. This has been a whole new rollercoaster of emotions for me because I didn't realize what I was going to be going through.
