Want a close encounter with a UFO?

At Coyote's Flying Saucer Retrievals and Repairs Service, no conspiracy theory is too outlandish to be entertained

* * *

When I ask Coyote why he opened a UFO scrap yard in the California desert just off Interstate 8, I'm ready for almost any answer except the one I get. He gives me a long stare and growls, "Sing the Cracker Jack song."

Coyote, who resembles a grizzled prospector straight out of a John Wayne film, makes it clear that he won't answer any questions until I sing all of the lyrics from the 1960s jingle about his favorite snack. Since the Cracker Jack jingle is before my time, he patiently coaches me on the words.

Indian Brook man says he spotted UFO in Nova Scotia skies | Provincial | News | The Chronicle

Roger Ward and his wife Amy Maloney are still shaken up after encountering what they believe was a UFO last week.

The Indian Brook couple was taking their granddaughter to dance in Elmsdale on Thursday when Ward looked up in the sky to admire the beautiful sunset. What he saw among the red and orange clouds has him asking questions that still have no answers.

"It was probably about two kilometres away when I saw it," Ward said Tuesday in a phone interview. "It was pretty big. It was like the size of a football field or something. It was huge. It looked like a big anvil - a big grey anvil - in the sky.

The mystery of Tucker Carlson - Columbia Journalism Review

Tucker Carlson is shouting when he tells me he isn't shouting. The barrage of his voice has been relentless throughout the interview.

"I don't want to be John McLaughlin yelling at people. Why would I want to do that? I don't need to do that," he insists. "I actually don't think the audience likes that. I don't like it. But the idea that I win debates because I yell louder, it's, like, absurd."

* * *

I am confused. "You were definitely shouting before. That's why this is funny," I say laughing nervously. "Because you are like, "I AM NOT SHOUTING!"
