Maxar Technologies signed a joint statement of strategic intent and cooperation with the Australian Space Agency .
Under the statement, Maxar and Australian Space Agency will investigate collaboration in areas of mutual strategic interest related to Earth intelligence and space infrastructure capabilities, and space-related Australian education and training initiatives. These projects may include development of next-generation space robotics, ground stations focused on optimized servicing of large satellite constellations, optical and communications satellites, space-based maritime surveillance, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies that extract insights from Earth observation data at scale.

NEW DELHI, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will carry along as many as 14 small foreign satellites in its next three PSLVs (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicles) over the next two months, reliable sources close to ISRO confirmed on Thursday.

So far, the PSLV has launched around 300 mostly small (1kg-100kg) satellites to low-earth orbits for many foreign customers.
The three PSLV flights -- PSLV-C47, PSLV-C48 and PSLV-C49 -- would be sent in November and December. All these launch vehicles will carry one main payload of India, which are basically earth observation satellites, besides the 14 foreign satellites.
According to the English daily The Hindu, the 14 small foreign satellites would be accommodated as "minor secondary passengers" on the PSLV flights. The U.S. company "Spaceflight" arranges such flights for agencies seeking to put their spacecraft into orbits.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Not everyone has signed on the dotted line to join NASA's plan to start sending astronauts to the moon in 2024 via an outpost in lunar orbit known as the Gateway, but the world's leading space agencies are already staking out their roles.
Russia, for example, plans to work on its own space transportation system that would parallel NASA's Space Launch System rocket and Orion crew capsule. Europe and Japan are planning to provide logistical support for space operations. And Canada will be supplying the Gateway's robotic arm.
Space agency officials laid out the status of their plans for the final frontier today during a panel discussion and follow-up news briefing at the International Astronautical Congress in Washington.
The top item on the agenda for crewed space exploration is NASA's Artemis program, which aims to send the first woman and the next man to the moon's south polar region in 2024. Based on what's already been said about Artemis, it's a safe bet that the first two moonwalkers will be American — but NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine said representatives of NASA's partner space agencies will eventually get their chance as well.
China space official misses International Astronautical Congress after U.S.
Diplomatic tensions between China and the United States continued to climb Wednesday, when Chinese officials accused the United States of having "weaponized" the visa process after a top Chinese official was unable attend a major international space conference being held in Washington.
A spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry told reporters in Beijing that Wu Yanhua, the deputy head of the China National Space Administration, was not able to obtain a visa, and therefore was not able to attend, according to the Associated Press .
In a statement released Thursday morning, State Department Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said the U.S. "rejects the Chinese Foreign Ministry's unfounded and baseless characterization of U.S. visa policies toward China. We cannot discuss individual visa cases since visa records are confidential under U.S. law, but we can confirm that the Chinese delegation is in attendance at the conference."
