As the latest season drops, viewers may recall the dramatic events of season nine, which broke new ground for the franchise. In a show first, no couples took their relationship to the next step, with plenty of jaw dropping moments.
Annie and Nick's rocky romance continued to deteriorate on screen, with Nick ultimately pulling the plug on their wedding and vacating their joint flat. According to Netflix's Tudum, the pair carried on seeing each other for several weeks afterwards before Nick brought things to an end via text.
Despite this, the former couple have maintained a friendship, with Annie telling Tudum: ⁘I'm not a malicious person, I have no hard feelings towards him, I have no ill will.⁘

Following the dramatic reunion episode, the pair seemingly found ⁘closure⁘ as Kalybriah revealed to Netflix's Tudum: ⁘I'll always have a soft spot for Edmond because, deep down, I don't think he means any harm.⁘
