The singing competition series is officially back for season 24 , and new episodes are dropping every Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on ABC . As folks continue to be mesmerized by the talented auditioners, the show shared some surprise information about what's to come later this season.
In an Instagram video on January 28, fans learned that American Idol was already filming the Disney Aulani Resort portion of the season, which takes place in Kapolei, Hawaii. But that's not all—the show announced that Keke Palmer and Brad Paisley will be the celebrity mentors helping aspiring artists compete for a spot in the live shows later in season 24.
“Oh, and the owl can SINGGG honey! 🦉,” Keke wrote alongside the clip in the caption. “@bradpaisley and I are mentoring the #americanidol hopefuls at @disneyaulani!”
Shortly after Keke dropped this exciting announcement, the show's social team reacted in the comments.
