Robert Irwin has gained a legion of devoted fans since making his debut on "Dancing With the Stars" last month, and some of them are rallying for him to be the next star of "The Bachelor."
The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist, who heated up the "DWTS" dance floor by ripping off his shir t during his salsa with pro partner Witney Carson on the Sept. 29 episode, says the idea of him joining the ABC reality dating series is not out of the question.
"I mean, I'm looking for the perfect person so stranger things have happened," added Irwin, whose dad is the late famed conservationist and TV personality Steve Irwin.
The woman of Irwin's dreams he said, doesn't necessarily need to be comfortable right away with snakes and other wildlife he regularly handles.
"You know, I think we can get over that. I think she's got to like animals but even if (she's) a little bit afraid of the snakes and spiders, that's fine," he said, waving his hand in the air. "I'm pretty good at slowly but surely kind of convincing pretty much everyone to like animals."
As for what he looks for in a partner, the native Australian said he'd love to meet someone whose views align with his, but who has new perspectives to offer, too.
"You got to take, you know, everything you've learned as a lesson and find someone that your core values, I think, come together. But I think it's important to have someone different," he explained.
