Once again, the producers on Big Brother UK have their work cut out for them. In the latest episode of the reality competition, Big Brother gave housemate George Gilbert a formal warning for homophobic comments aimed at Sam Ashby. That type of behavior doesn't fly in this game, and we're so glad they didn't let this go unchecked.
"George, before you entered the Big Brother House, the rules regarding unacceptable language and behaviour were explained to you," they began. "Big Brother needs to talk to you about a conversation at the dining table last night."
According to George, he and Sam did have a conversation about it. However, that's not enough to get him off the hook. Rules are rules.
"We did have a conversation about this, Sam pulled me to one side," George said. "I have apologised. I don't want to make anyone feel like that, so I will be walking on eggshells around Sam from here on in."
With that, George received a formal warning about his conduct. Further instances of misconduct could result in him being removed from the game . For everyone's sake, let's hope he gets his act together.
