The show, which features a cast of world champion Irish dancers and musicians, will kick off its Michigan tour Oct. 15 in Ann Arbor, according to a community announcement. The tour will make stops in Coopersville, Monroe, Benton Harbor, Cheboygan, Coldwater, Jackson, Saginaw and Bay Harbor before concluding Oct. 26 in Clinton Township.
The production, presented by Pace Live, debuted in the U.S. in 2024 with an Off-Broadway engagement. It has since toured internationally, receiving praise from Time Out Sydney and BroadwayWorld Sydney.
A Taste of Ireland combines traditional Irish music and dance with modern elements. The performance features reimagined classics such as ⁘Danny Boy⁘ and ⁘Wild Rover,⁘ as well as contemporary choreography and lighting effects.
The cast includes Gavin Shevlin, a two-time world champion and former member of Lord of the Dance and Riverdance; Callum O'Neill, a world champion and former Riverdance performer; and Cian Walsh, a world championship runner-up. Fiddle player Megan McGinley, who has performed with Lord of the Dance, is also part of the lineup.
The show is directed and produced by Brent Pace, who has more than 20 years of experience in Irish dance. Ceili Moore, a world champion and former Riverdance and Lord of the Dance performer, serves as co-director and producer. Charlie Galloway is the musical director.
