Heidi Klum is basically a professional tanner at this point. Her Instagram is filled with photos from the pool or the beach where she is, undoubtedly, rocking another cute bikini . But her tanning game doesn't stop there. Sometimes, she even shares a daring glimpse at how she takes her tanning to the next level by ditching her bikini top altogether. Just a couple of weeks ago, for instance, she shared a video of herself enjoying the ocean completely topless . In a new exclusive cover interview with People published on July 28, the model opened up about her topless tanning—and what her four kids, Leni, Henry, Johan, and Lou, make of it all.
This isn't the first time Klum has opened up about how she prefers to go topless when she's in the privacy of her home.
Previously, the model explained to that she actually prefers to be topless and comfortable whenever she gets the chance.
"I'm super comfortable naked today,⁘ she said to People in 2023. ⁘To the point where my kids are like, 'Mom, I have a friend coming over.' And I'm like, 'Have I ever been naked in the backyard when a friend was coming over?' As soon as someone is coming, I put my top on. But if no one is there, sun's out, bums out. I just don't like tan lines because I wear so many different outfits. I don't want to have straps anywhere from tan lines. It's very strategic."
Klum is clearly proud to be comfortable in her own skin—and she proved it in the photoshoot that accompanies her new interview. In one look, she went completely pantsless wearing nothing but a black leotard . And Klum has no intention of changing her sartorial habits anytime soon.
