"Dancing With the Stars" choreographer Eddie Alba will star with professional dancers Angel Fox, Francis Grant and Adam Spencer May 3 in " Diva Las Vegas" at Cape Cod Community College's Tilden Arts Center in Barnstable .
Tickets are $25 for the 5 p.m. show which supports the Chance2Dance program , which provides access to the art of ballroom dance for local youth facing financial barriers.
" 'Diva Las Vegas' is a high-energy tribute to the divas, icons and legendary music that define the Las Vegas Strip. The event will showcase a spectacular array of performances by the students of Adam in Chatham, their professional instructors, and the award-winning Chance2Dance youth team," according to publicity for the event.
Chance2Dance was founded by Chatham resident Naomi Turner and is now run by Spencer and Benny DiCecca.
"This show is about celebrating our local talent—from young to old, from ballroom newcomers to seasoned veterans," Spencer said in a written statement. "It's about supporting your neighbors, friends and family while bringing the excitement of Vegas to our Cape Cod community."
