And they're off! The Amazing Race season 37 premiered on March 5, 2025, with a new "Fork in the Road" format that brought a twist right in episode 1 — a double elimination. After traveling to Hong Kong, China, in the premiere, the teams jetted to Osaka, Japan, in episode 2, where another pair went home after a long day of challenges.
The teams moved to Kyoto, Japan, in episode 3. Two strong teams were eliminated in episodes 4 and 5 in Bali, Indonesia. In episode 7, the show headed to Bulgaria for the first time, where a team that had previously struggled was finally eliminated.
