Producers tend to create a villain out of someone who has issues with the other ladies, and this season, producers have their eyes set on Zoe McGrady . However, Zoe is not as wicked as the production is making her out to be . She's no Courtney, Tierra, or Shanae — by any means. She's not calculated, mean, or conniving. Zoe, like the rest of the contestants, came on the show to pursue leading man, Grant Ellis — and that's exactly what she's doing.
The animosity towards Zoe all began at the basketball group date . One of the activities on the date was doing a slam dunk. But when it got to Zoe, she forfeited her turn and pulled Grant aside to chat one-on-one. The other women were furious, feeling she disrespected their time with Grant by whisking him away. Some of them went as far as saying she should be "disqualified." They took an elevator upstairs as Zoe explained that the date card said to 'shoot your shot,' and she wanted to make herself known, even on a group date . The two chatted before returning to the court. Zoe apologized, saying they "lost track of time."
What Zoe did may have been frustrating to watch as a viewer – however, it does not warrant her being labeled as the season's villain. She's no Courtney, Tierra, or Shanae. What she did was simply out of love for Grant. She is on the show for him, not the ladies, so she did what she needed to do to further her connection with him.
