The Bachelor's Peter Weber And Maria Georgas Seen Chatting And Looking Cozy In New York City

Bachelor Nation's Peter Weber and Maria Georgas have sparked romance rumors after a fan spotted them together in New York City. TikTok user @snookisbluecontacts shared the unexpected video of the pair to her page on Sunday, November 3.

In the clip, Peter, 33, and Maria, 30, were seated right next to each other in a booth at a restaurant. Although they appeared to be joined by other people, they seemed to only have eyes and ears for each other as they chatted up a storm. "Are they in love? Who knows?" the content creator said while filming the duo.

The comments section was flooded with fans who were shocked to see these two spending time together. One also asked the eyewitness what city the interaction took place in and she indicated that it was the Big Apple by responding with an apple and Statue of Liberty emojis.

After being dumped by Hannah Brown on The Bachelorette , Peter went on to become the lead of The Bachelor for season 24, which aired at the beginning of 2020. Although he got engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss on the show, they broke things off before the finale aired. Peter ended up rekindling his relationship with fellow contestant Kelley Flanagan after the show ended.

Peter and Kelley, 32, dated on and off for three years before calling it quits for good in June 2023.

Meanwhile, Maria was a contestant on Joey Graziadei's season of the dating show earlier this year. She became a fan-favorite and fans expected her to be named the Bachelorette after she was eliminated from the show following hometown dates. However, Jenn Tran wound up getting the gig.

Maria said that she had started doing fittings and interviews for the role before she decided to turn it down. "When everyone around me was so supportive of me being in this position and everyone wanted this for me, I took a second. I'm like, 'Why am I not happy? Why am I not excited about this?'" Maria admitted. "It took me realizing that it's just not my time [and] I was like, 'Respectfully, I need to decline. I need to take a step back.'"
