Strictly Come Dancing 's final contestants have reportedly been confirmed to join the likes of JB Gill and Chris McCausland in the star-studded line-up.
As the competition's launch day edges closer, famous faces have been confirmed over the past few days. So far, official announcements have seen Dr Punam Krishan , Toyah Willcox, Wynne Evans, JB Gill and Chris McCausland confirmed to be set to hit the dance floor. Olympian Tom Dean also spilled the beans on his participation in an interview following his performance at the Games in Paris.
According to reports, rumoured participants including Shayne Ward and Pete Wicks are correct, but there are also surprising names to have been included. Among the shocking contestants are former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and Gladiators' Montell Douglas AKA Fire . Sarah Hadland has also seemingly been confirmed for this latest series, as has Sam Quek.
Montell's apparent inclusion comes after she showed off her power and strength on the reboot of Gladiators. The athlete, 37, had previously competed in both the Summer and Winter Olympics, becoming the first female UK athlete to do so. She raced in both the 100m sprint and the bobsled.
The apparent leaks come as the show prepares to entertain the public again after months of turmoil. Pro dancers Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima have been axed following misconduct claims ahead of the new series - claims which Giovanni denies.
