O say can you sing? The White Sox invite fans to step up to the plate and show off their star-spangled singing for the inaugural White Sox National Anthem Contest! The roar of the crowd, the crack of the bat and one talented winner's voice soaring high above it all. Do you have the vocal chops to knock a performance out of the park?
Step 1 - Create an audition video. The Anthem portion of your video must be no longer than 90 seconds in length, performed in its traditional form. No customized versions, please.
Step 2 - Ensure the audio is kept clear and free of background noise. Pro tip: Shoot your audition video horizontally for the best view.
Finalist notifications: Finalists will be notified via email if they've been selected for final-round auditions during the week of Monday, July 29.
Final-round auditions: Thursday, August 8 at Guaranteed Rate Field. Note – All entrants must be available for a live audition to have a chance at winning.
Winner must be available to perform the National Anthem ahead of the evening game on Tuesday, September 10 vs. Cleveland at 6:40 p.m. CT.
