WWE returns to Saudi Arabia on Saturday for the 2023 edition of Crown Jewel. As usual, the promotion is bringing plenty of big matches to the event, including five championship bouts.
Roman Reigns will defend the undisputed WWE universal championship in the night's main event, putting his belt on the line against LA Knight. It will be Reigns' first title defense since facing Jey Uso at SummerSlam in August.

WWE Crown Jewel 2023 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, advertised five championship matches. The show opened with Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Logan Paul challenged Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship.
Fans started with multiple chants, including "McIntyre!" and "Oooh Drew McIntyre!" McIntyre was the clear fan favorite in this one.

Kairi Sane made her presence felt at Crown Jewel in the WWE Women’s Championship match between IYO SKY and Bianca Belair.
IYO SKY won the WWE Women’s Title from Bianca Belair at SummerSlam when she cashed in her Money In The Bank contract moments after Belair had captured the title from Asuka.

The finish saw Rhea Ripley hit Riptide on Zoey Stark on the top rope, crashing down onto two women beneath them. Ripley pinned the bottom woman on the pile (Shayna Baszler) to successfully retain her title.
Jax rolls out of the ring and tells everyone else to fight. While Jax is showing off her new hairdo to Michael Cole at ringside, the women left in the ring trade pins. Jax pulls Rodriguez out of the ring during a pin attempt and sends her into the ring post. Jax runs over Ripley.
