North Korean Hackers Compromise Russian Missile Maker - Infosecurity Magazine

Security researchers have discovered a likely North Korean cyber-espionage campaign targeting the IT network of a Russian manufacturer of intercontinental ballistic missiles and aerospace equipment.

“The same day, the NPO Mashinostroyeniya staff also identified a suspicious DLL file present in different internal systems. The month following the intrusion, NPO Mashinostroyeniya engaged with their AV solution’s support staff to determine why this and other activity was not detected.

Health data of 1.7 million Oregon residents accessed by MOVEit hackers | TechCrunch

Hackers behind the mass-exploitation of a vulnerability in the popular corporate file transfer tool MOVEit Transfer have accessed the protected health information of 1.7 million Oregon citizens.

PH Tech hasn't said how many individuals were affected by the breach of its systems. However, a separate notice from the Oregon Health Authority states that an estimated 1.7 million of its members were affected.

Microsoft Says Russia-Linked Hackers Behind Dozens of Teams Phishing Attacks

The hackers set up domains and accounts that looked like technical support and tried to engage Teams users in chats and get them to approve multifactor authentication (MFA) prompts, the researchers said.

“Microsoft has mitigated the actor from using the domains and continues to investigate this activity and work to remediate the impact of the attack,” they added.
