Much has appeared in commentary about the recent Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue featuring a cover portrayal of Martha Stewart at the age of 81. Author Nancy Sales has posed an important question: "Should it be a triumph for women that Martha Steward is a swimsuit star?"
The answer should be a resounding no. We should welcome the notion that human beings can be sexual into their 80s, but this must not translate into images of women being sexualized in the media.

With Summer basically here, we’re all itching to break out the swimsuits. While so many people bring out the bikinis , we’re here to show some love to the one-pieces — an ode to the figure-hugging swimsuits of the Target aisle.
While we see a celebrity bikini shot almost every time we log onto Instagram, we also see quite a few celebs rock a one-piece. Sometimes, celebrities almost exclusively wear one-pieces, rather than a bikini (or even a tankini!) And of course, they rock them.
