SpaceX Crew-6 Mission Docks to Station’s Harmony Module – Space Station
NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg , along with UAE (United Arab Emirates) astronaut Sultan Alneyadi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev arrived at the International Space Station on Friday, as the SpaceX Dragon, named Endeavour, docked to the complex at 1:40 a.m.
Docking was delayed slightly as mission teams completed troubleshooting of a faulty docking hook sensor on Dragon.
Navy astronaut leads NASA's next space mission
The next set of astronauts bound for the International Space Station — led by the first ever Navy submarine officer selected as an astronaut — launched early Thursday morning on NASA's SpaceX Crew-6 mission.
Liftoff occurred at 12:34 a.m. Eastern time from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, according to a release from the space agency. This was the second attempt to get the mission off the ground after a planned launch on Monday was scrubbed just before liftoff.
