Less than a month from now, we'll learn who will fly on NASA's first crewed moon mission since the Apollo era.
"On April the third, we will announce the crew for the first mission back to the moon in over a half century," NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said during his annual "State of NASA" address on Thursday (March 9). "Four astronauts, three from America and one from Canada, will fly around the moon.

We are soon going to learn the identities of the four astronauts who will strap into the Orion spacecraft and travel farther into space than any crew before.
"Traveling aboard NASA's Orion spacecraft during Artemis II, the mission is the first crewed flight test on the agency's path to establishing a long-term scientific and human presence on the lunar surface," NASA wrote in its statement.

An experiment led by NASA and the Department of Energy is working toward a scientific pathfinder that can be used on the Moon’s surface at night to measure radio wave signals from the Dark Age of the universe.
The LuSEE-Night instrument is being developed to withstand harsh lunar nights, which can reach up to negative 280 degrees Fahrenheit.
