Councillor Louise Lodge is organizing the event with the Barriere Outdoor Club, which is scheduled for May 28 at 9 a.m. She ran the race in 2018 and 2019. Each year, the theme is announced at the event — the surprise is part of the fun.
The challenges are inclusive of most ages and abilities, with six different categories for different teams. For example, a youth could participate with a parent in the youth/adult category, or with a peer in the youth/youth category. There is also a seniors category.
