NASA scientist calls for Uranus mission to crack open its secrets | TweakTown

Uranus could be the next planet NASA begins preparing a mission for, as it has been more than 30 years since humanity has come close to the distant ice giant.

A new essay penned by Kathleen Mandt, a Planetary Scientist on NASA & European Space Agency (ESA) missions, calls for more knowledge to be gained about the solar system's outer planets and, in particular, Uranus.

Watchmen's Rorschach Is Marvel Canon Thanks to Sneaky Spider-Man Cameo

There has long been a grand tradition in comics for characters to “unofficially” cross over into other publisher’s titles.

Most importantly, it’s appropriate that it would be Rorschach to appear in a Spider-Man comic, because the characters share a connection many casual fans may not realize. That would be Steve Ditko, the artist who co-created Spider-Man with Stan Lee.

Whose democracy is this anyway? - JNS.org

(February 19, 2023 / JNS) If one had just landed in Israel from a distant planet, one would likely conclude that this little country is being torn apart over the ownership, protection and stewardship of something called "democracy."

This would be an astute insight. To see the ongoing protests against judicial reform is to conclude that the autocrats are at the gate, the theocrats are flexing their muscles and only the Supreme Court—as leaders of a fearless, objective, all-caring judiciary—can stop the invasion.
