Weird Al enjoys a flirty Madonna in 1985 "interview" (video) | Boing Boing

After his "Like a Virgin" parody in 1985, Weird Al Yankovic "interviewed" Madonna, who said (after a bit of splicing and dicing) that she thinks of Al as "nonstop sexual energy." She also credited "Like a Surgeon" with giving her the exposure that she had so far achieved.

Dogs and cats often act in amusing and bewildering ways. Sometimes science can explain their behaviors. Other times, their conduct may need a vet visit. And, occasionally, there is no logic for what they are doing, or why they are doing it.

The Washington Post invited readers to submit photos and videos of their companion animals doing funny, wacky or inexplicable things, and then asked for commentary from animal behavior experts.

Monday night's Patriots loss felt weird, yet familiar

There was a bit of a déjà vu moment in the Gillette Stadium press box Monday night, late in the third quarter of the team’s 33-14 loss to the Chicago Bears.

At least, that’s how it felt like the Patriots approached the game at times. Some of their decisions – mainly surrounding the quarterback position – felt like more of a fit for August than October.

Rishi Sunak: What the Indian diaspora thinks of the incoming U.K. prime minister.

There couldn't have been a more fitting moment for the ascendance of the United Kingdom's first Indian prime minister, who will also be his country's first PM of color, the first Hindu to lead its government, and the youngest person to have the role in 200 years.

Now that Liz Truss has been lettuced and Boris Johnson has decided not to call it a comeback, Sunak will head His Majesty's Government for at least a little while, assuming general elections don't happen anytime soon .

Dismissed juror at Trump Org trial calls Weisselberg family's wealth 'weird'

The 54-year-old lawyer, who declined to provide her name, was among the first New Yorkers dismissed from jury duty at the high-profile trial that kicked off Monday at Manhattan Supreme Court.
