Decoding Elon Musk’s Weird, Freewheeling Tesla Earnings Call

Given all of his extracurricular activities, it can be easy to forget that Elon Musk is also concerned with the business of selling electric vehicles. His company, Tesla, is really the wellspring of everything else in Muskland.

Tesla offered up its latest answer to how things are going there on Wednesday, announcing quarterly earnings against the very high expectations that Wall Street has set for Musk's ability to make money and deliver cars.

Rudy Gobert gets brutally honest on 'weird' feeling ahead of first Jazz showdown

Rudy Gobert’s debut with the Minnesota Timberwolves went quite well on Wednesday night. He scored 23 points and hauled in 16 rebounds to help lead Minnesota to a 115-108 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in their season opener.

Gobert spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Jazz, and played a big role in their revival over the past few seasons. But Utah blew everything up this offseason and decided to rebuild, which resulted in Gobert ending up in Minnesota.

Schwarber Says Teammates 'Looked at Him Weird' After 488-Foot Home Run - Sports Illustrated

Phillies  outfielder  Kyle Schwarber   crushed the hardest-hit postseason home run ever recorded during Game 1 of the NLCS vs. the Padres on Tuesday night.

The ball Schwarber hit went 488 feet with an exit velocity of 120 miles per hour, which broke the record according to Statcast which began measuring exit velocities in 2015.

Blake Snell guts out 5 innings in Game 2 win vs. Phillies

'Weird' flu season predicted by Children's of Alabama

Doctors at Children’s of Alabama announced they are seeing more cases of flu already this year and said they are expecting a “weird” flu season.

While there are already more cases than typical, Children’s said it expected the peak to be sometime in February.

'Weird and Wonderful' Mementos on Display at Island Library - The SandPaper

She titled the collection "Weird and Wonderful Stuff Found in My Attic, on Beaches, in Bay Mud, and My Travels Around the World." See it at the Long Beach Island branch of the Ocean County Library through the end of the month.

"You can see there's been no consistency," she said. "It's just stuff that ended up in the house; I never thought of myself as a collector."
