Goodwill uses virtual reality to train new team members
CHARLOTTE, N.C — Goodwill Industries International was awarded a $300,000 Google Grant. Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is using that money to fund new training sessions for team members using virtual reality.
Douglas Harris, School of Retail Program manager, spent 200 hours making the training program for new team members.

Chieh (Sunny) Cheng, an assistant professor in UW Tacoma's School of Nursing, has been awarded a pilot research grant to develop and test behavioral health promotion approaches in schools. The grant is offered through the University of Washington Population Health Inititative. Learn more here .
