No. 9 Sparta defeats Pascack Valley - Girls basketball - North 1, Group 3 - Semifinal round
Ally Sweeney posted a double-double with 32 points and 10 rebounds for top-seeded Sparta, No. 9 in the NJ.com Top 20, in its 54-31 victory over 13th-seeded Pascack Valley in the semifinals of the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 tournament in Sparta.
Sparta (23-3) led 29-17 at halftime before pulling away in the second half for its 15th straight win. The Spartans also held Pascack Valley (16-12) to just three points in the fourth quarter.
