Selena Gomez Celebrated Rare Beauty's 1-Year Anniversary & The Work Ahead

Hope your day is going good. Here's another 9 News update for Sun 05 Sep 2021:

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. We see beauty in different things. Every color, race, and gender. The irony is we’re usually distracted by everything under the sun. We need that little extra oomph to grab someone’s attention. Sometimes just a little cosmetics can make the magic work. And fortunately finding cosmetics to give our skin an extra glow is not difficult.

What can it hurt? Add on a little eye shadow, a glossy lipstick. Accent with some cute air rings and get a tattoo 🙂 It’s OK to attract people with a little dazzle. Then they will take a closer look and see what’s truly beautiful right beneath.

"I'm so grateful for this community, my entire team, and my @Sephora family. It's because of you that we're breaking down the unrealistic standards of perfection ," the musician captioned a Friday, Sept. 3 Instagram post. "We're just getting started." Meanwhile, the official Rare Beauty Instagram account echoed that sentiment, thanking consumers for helping the brand "break down unrealistic standards of perfection, build a welcoming community where everyone can be themselves, and [destigmatize] mental health ."

With Gomez's 10-year, $100 million goal still very much in focus, the Rare Beauty brand's impact will surely only increase in the coming years, too. Like she said, they're just getting started.

Former home of Selena Gomez, owned by rapper French Montana, sells for $5 million | Fox Business

National Association of Home Builders CEO Jerry Howard says new home construction data is showing similar trends to the 2008 housing market crash.

Rapper French Montana just sold the California home that he purchased from actress Selena Gomez five years ago.

The Hidden Hills abode located in the Moreau Estates section of the popular gated celebrity hideaway rests on 3 acres and features a main house and a guest house across its sprawling footprint.

According to Architectural Digest , the Moroccan-born performer toned down the striking Gomez-era turquoise and purple color scheme with a serene gray and white color palette and made some updates to the kitchen by removing the dark cabinetry and countertops in favor of white marble cabinets and matching white marble counters.

French Montana Sells Home He Bought From Selena Gomez for $5 Million | Architectural Digest

The property features a main house and a guest house, along with plenty to offer outdoors including a pool, spa, fire pit, and a dining area with an accompanying pizza oven. The Morocco -born musician added a $400,000 custom recording studio to complement the home's many other indoor amenities including an expansive wine cellar, a media room, a gym, a billiards room, and a built-in surround-sound system.

Beyond the addition of the recording studio, Montana cooled the place down by replacing Gomez's bold turquoise and purple color scheme with clean gray and white painted walls and similarly renovated the kitchen to replace the dark cabinetry and countertops with white cabinets and white marble counters. Many fireplaces can be found around the six bedroom, six and a half bathroom home, along with tasteful arched doorways throughout.
