In a photoshoot described as “intimate” and “provocative,” the house ambassador appeared on the Italian luxury brand’s Instagram yesterday in bold fashion. Her ensemble layered a wild leopard print oversight on top of a classic black bandeau with a daringly short mini skirt to match.
The look then continued with silky semi-sheer tights and cutout patent pumps with a shortened heel; similar pairs retail for $890 at Farfetch .
Kitten heels, usually measuring from 1 inch to just under 3 inches in height, are about to be everywhere this spring as celebrities and footwear fans alike make a slow return to lifted footwear. Following a revitalization of flats and comfortable footwear in 2020, stilettos and heightened lifts are still a ways off but kitten heel silhouettes still allow for a starting transition towards to elevated shoes.

Zendaya herself modeled another mini heel for Valentino back in March. Shortly after modeling the brand during the 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards, the brand unveiled Zendaya as one of its #ValentinoDiVas.
The “Euphoria” actress, who joined the brand as an ambassador in December 2020, appeared on its Instagram modeling a twist on the monochrome trend for the Italian fashion house. Donning an all-pink look during the photoshoot, the outfit matched a pink boyfriend-style, button-down shirt dress to a coordinating top-handle bag from the brand and slingback kitten heels to match.
When it comes to the world of fashion, Zendaya is a major name to lock down for a brand. With help from her longtime stylist Law Roach, the former Disney Channel star oftentimes leans towards styles from Valentino, of course, along with Area, Versace, Armani and more top labels. For footwear, it can range from Nike and Vans sneakers to Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo stilettos.
She previously worked with Tommy Hilfiger for her own collection of see-now-buy-now pieces and also served as an ambassador for Lancôme, Bulgari and Covergirl Cosmetics.
Kim Kardashian Bring Back the 2000s Camo Mini Skirt in a Fishnet Top – Footwear News
The media personality posed for her 220 million Instagram followers last night in a vintage-inspired camouflage mini skirt. Courtesy of Prada, the military-style design came with a cargo silhouette thanks to its zippered pockets across the sides.
Camo and cargo miniskirts were all the rage decades ago, favorited by the likes of Paris Hilton, Ashley Tisdale, Gwen Stefani and more style stars from the early aughts. The revitalization of the throwback design comes amongst a return of late 1990s and early 2000s trends across the celebrity fashion scene — think square-toe sandals, low-rise pants and bandana headscarves.

To give the silhouette a modern-day upgrade, Kim also modeled a fishnet tank top from Isa Boulder; similar designs from the brand retail for $329 at Farfetch . Fishnet, like retro pieces, is a major trend for celeb style in 2021. Whether it’s a netted gown on the red carpet or Bottega Veneta’s cult-favorite sandals, Rihanna, Kylie Jenner and Dua Lipa are amongst the many who have modeled fishnet fabrics over the past few weeks.
When it comes to her personal style, Kim’s outfit this week is just one of many wild combinations in the television personality‘s closet. Despite the recent news of their filing for divorce, Kim still favors Kanye West’s Yeezy collections for footwear and apparel as well, in addition to sneakers and boots from his Adidas Yeezy line. She styles the pieces with coordinating looks from every hit brand you can think of — the list usually includes Balmain, Balenciaga, Amina Muaddi, Maison Margiela and Bottega Veneta.
In addition to stylish looks on and off the set of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kim also dipped her toes into the fashion and beauty world with a mix of ventures. She created her Skims shapewear line in 2019, featuring a mix of inclusive designs and now affordable face masks too. Banana man Dan | Free September E-Edition | idahostatejournal.com
I partied with a friend in Boise two weeks past who I call Banana man Dan. Who is this primate, and why is he my favorite monkey?
We sat across from each other, but hadn't had time to say hello when this saucy creature sauntered between us wearing a mini-skirt. She was distributing class papers, and I still remember her name — it was Legs Divine.
I looked at Leg's stupendous long shanks for as long as was decently possible (yes, that is two longs in one sentence) before glancing at Dan. His attention was also focused upon her serpentine swagger, but our eyes met, and we telepathically agreed and sang a silent hallelujah chorus for the creators of this fine mini-glide; Dan actually rolled his eyes upwards toward heaven.
It was hard not to laugh as I considered this new arrival might be friend material. We were connecting over something straight men adore — women teasers. All we lacked was a "wooden club" to drag her back to our cave for a carnal feast.
The stimulating class ended, and Dan extended an invitation to dine on slop in the cafeteria. After 10 non-edible minutes we discovered commonality beyond teenage lust. Dan came to Pocatello because his brother won a court order for custody of his little brother; brave moxie taking your father to court to protect your sibling.
As we ate chili, Dan sarcastically opined that his lunch tasted better than the beans his dad had poured over his belongings.
"When he got the court order, he placed my clothes and stereo on the lawn and poured canned chili over everything."
Having Dan as my first best friend was a stroke of luck. He found us summer jobs moving sprinkler pipes on a farm west of Pocatello. For two months, we slogged through quicksand (saturated volcanic soil) carrying pipes oozing muddy water.
I put the word out that I needed a winter job to earn year-round rent money. Another friend Herb called about a job opening at the Holiday Inn. He had recommended me, and we soon rowed together as restaurant chain(ed) galley-slaves.

The Best Accessories To Wear With Psychedelic Summer Prints
Optimism is in, and as we start to think more and more about what our re-emergence style will look like , there's one thing we can all, regardless of taste, agree on: Our clothes need to be fun.
Driven by a hefty dose of nostalgia, today's resurgence of '60s and '70s fashion has meant a return to clothing that makes us smile. Dominated by psychedelic prints in the form of graphic florals, trippy swirls, warped checks, and groovy tie-dyes, these patterns possesses a certain elevated relaxedness. Here, silky dresses, loose-fitting sets, and body-skimming tops reign supreme.
Accessorizing statement pieces, however, can be a challenge: Do you keep the rest of the outfit minimal and focus on solid, neutral colors? Or do you lean heavily into the kitsch and risk looking like you're on your way to a theme party? The answer is a little bit of both. These 10 pieces compliment psychedelic prints by staying in line with the shapes and styles of the era. Crescent moon-shaped bags, layered extra-long necklaces, tinted sunglasses: Welcome to retro dressing, reimagined.
For everyday, a toughened-up version of the Mary Jane lends the right amount of edge. Just think how good these would look with a matching, acid-colored set, like coordinating knit jacquard bottoms and bandana top .
Swap your go-to bag for something a little more shapely. Staud's Mini Moon — an update to the brand's beloved crescent shape — is a contemporary take on the half-moon purse of the '70s. Though your instinct might be to go for the typical black or brown (especially when wearing a loud print), try a pretty pastel pink instead — it strikes the right balance between neutral and pop of color.
Hoop earrings go with any outfit. To dress up a kitschy pattern, opt for a pair that feels more solid, less flimsy (avoid thin gold or plastic). These textural braided hoops have the weight needed to elevate any look.
This pouch is called 'Super Fluo' for a reason: its trio of colors make a splash. For maximum impact, style the holds-only-the-essentials piece (it's tiny but mighty) with some wide-legged light-wash jeans and a vintage tee.
Sunglasses are often an afterthought, but they really should be anything but. These extra-wide white acetate frames with a cool glossy finish and rectangular shape, are a no-brainer way to add a dose of personality to your outfit. Paired with hypnotic florals, you'll have the ultimate vintage-inspired combination.
Tie-dye velvet socks may sound anything but subtle, but with a slightly-muted mix of hues, these offer a fun explosion of color without drawing too much attention. Pair with a vibrant mini dress and your choice of footwear. For something more casual, style with white sneakers; for something louder, try clear PVC slides.
Is Olivia Rodrigo Music's Latest It-Girl? — CR Fashion Book
Olivia Rodrigo is the musical artist on everyone's minds and lips these days. After "Drivers License" and "Deja Vu", the California native is practically taking over the charts as the latest fixation in today's music scene. Ahead of her forthcoming album Sour which is set to release on May 21, Rodrigo is tapping into the punk-pop and grunge-inspired ballads that are said to be included on the album with the singer's latest viral release "Good 4 U".
Rodrigo got her foot in the music scene when her single “Drivers License” went viral on TikTok. At the end of the first weekend of its release it was the biggest hit of 2021 where the song spent 8 weeks on Billboard Hot 100 and it broke Spotify's record for most Spotify streams in a single day for a non-holiday song with over 15 million streams. The song is about dismantling established gender norms in pop music where emotional vulnerability puts the woman at the driver's seat.
The singer is having a full-blown busy career when her series on Disney+, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series launched where she stars as an insecure theater kid Nini Salazar-Roberts. It’s hard to believe that the talented Rodrigo is graduating from high school this year.
The success of the singer's release of her singles heightens the anticipation of her fanbase who loves girl power that makes messiness look glorious. She's the new addition to the other young, pop stars with a taste of rebellion like Lorde, Taylor Swift, and Avril Lavigne.
Fashion goes hand in hand with Rodrigo’s musical influences as she has been tapping onto ‘90s fashion trends in all of her looks from the butterfly claw clips, pleated plaid mini skirt, oversized band tees and tinted glasses. Making her CR ’s latest It-girl.
'Felicity Kendal is wrong!
Jeremy Clarkson has today waded into a row which Felicity Kendal has been campaigning for. The Top Gear star said one of the actress’ claims was “wrong” as he shared his own view.
Speaking in his latest column, the presenter discussed plans to build an “Emirates”-style block of offices and flats in the King’s Road.
However, he has said he thinks this has happened already but stated he was also against the proposals.
He referenced the historic neighbourhood as where Mary Quant launched the mini skirt and the birthplace of punk.
He also cited the Chelsea Potter pub, which 10cc included in one of their songs, saying it was now filled with chain stores instead of vintage shops.

It comes after Felicity suggested the plans were “over-the-top and all wrong for the area”.
Speaking to the MailOnline, the small screen star claimed it needs to be “in keeping” with the historic area.
She blasted: “To simply dump a high and over-sized chunk of brick and glass right on the King’s Road would be architectural vandalism and idiocy.
