The Ultimate Skin Care Routine for Dry Skin

The following skin care routine and recommendations for dry skin can leave your skin happy, hydrated, and glowing.

Whether it's a tried-and-true skin care regimen, how often you wash your hair, or the cosmetics you're curious about, beauty is personal.

That's why we rely on a diverse group of writers, educators, and other experts to share their tips on everything from the way product application varies to the best sheet mask for your individual needs.

Dry skin can be uncomfortable and is usually marked by scaling, itching, and cracking. While dry skin commonly affects the hands, arms, and legs, it can affect any part of the body.

"Dry skin causes can be classified as internal or external, and the easiest to address are the external factors," says Sparks.

A deficiency in B vitamins "will also make you more sensitive to certain skin care products and sunlight," she says.

While the causes may differ, anyone can practice a skin routine for dry skin that will be to their benefit.

Your first step is to choose a hydrating cleanser. You want a cleanser to remove dirt and oil without causing a disruption to the outer skin layer.

Many toners use alcohol as a main ingredient, which dries out the skin. Look for an alcohol-free toner with active ingredients that restore the pH levels of your skin.

Nadia Bartel flashes abs in skin-tight outfit on Instagram

There may be no crowds at Flemington this year, but that won't stop Australia's stars celebrating the race that stops the nation.

The Melbourne businesswoman, who was previously married to Geelong Cats player Jimmy Bartel, posted a selfie on Instagram of her wearing a white two-piece outfit by Australian designer Natalie Rolt.

Nadia posted the photo while on a trip from her native Melbourne to Sydney, where she was shooting a campaign for Spray Aus, the fake tan business she co-owns alongside Bec Judd.

The influencer showed off her bronzed look for the photo shoot in a video posted to her Instagram stories on Friday morning.

It’s been a busy 12 months for Nadia after her fashion label Henne exploded in popularity last year.

Last December she and sister Michelle Coppolino announced they would be shutting down their online clothing store The Connection (TCN) to focus on Henne.

Nadia told The House of Wellness magazine they are now working on bringing the fashion label to a global audience.

Rebel Wilson showcases her slim frame as she rides a bike in Merseyside- after 4.5st weight loss

And Rebel Wilson looked sensational as she flaunted her slim physique while filming new movie The Almond And The Seahorse in Merseyside on Thursday.

The actress, 41, slipped into a pair of black skin-tight trousers with cuffed legs while riding a bike along a promenade next to the River Mersey.

Rebel styled her figure-hugging bottoms with a warm grey jumper and khaki jacket, which she left unzipped for the bike ride.

The Australian star completed her look by donning a pair of white trainers and ensured to stay safe while on two wheels as she wore a light green helmet.

During the shoot, Rebel also seemed to be in good spirits as she posed for selfies and chatted with members of the public.

According to Deadline, The Almond and The Sea Horse is a feature adaptation of Kaite O'Reilly's stageplay of the same name.

While Rebel's role and a release date are yet to be revealed, she joins Celyn, Danish performer Trine Dyrholm and The Kumars at No. 42 icon Meera Syal in the star-studded indie pic.

The Chain Belt Is Poised To Be the Accessory of Summer | Vogue

This yesteryear Celine belt serves no purpose other than to be seen. It's not actually securing her pants from falling down, which is what belts do. It's just there, an excessive garnish for Lopez's otherwise plain look. My own imagined outfits for reemergence hinge on that very chain belt. That sort of gaudy-chic aesthetic feels apropos for the world coming out of hibernation. In the early aughts, It girls and pop stars loved chain belts. Aaliyah opted for a thin gold incarnation strung over a simple pair of white pants at a film premiere in 2001, while Christina Aguilera always went the brash route with multiple chains in multiple sizes.

On the runway, the chain belt has been a Chanel signature time and time again. A moment from the Spring 1995 show is burned in my brain, with Brandi Quinones trotting down the catwalk in an itty-bitty baby pink button-up polo and a mini skirt with a slit. A chain belt hangs off the skirt, once again, it's just there. Speaking of the runway, the piece made a comeback at Chanel's spring 2021 show, strung across a bodysuit or a pair of trousers. Y2K-minded Blumarine's fall 2021 show featured so many chains on one look, it resembled a flashy octopus. The trend continued at Marine Serre, where a stone bauble hung from a chain.

Skinny jeans officially dead as one 70s style makes huge comeback | Newshub

Watch: There's one style that's making a massive comeback. Credits: Image - Getty; Video - Newshub

They've reigned supreme in the denim world for more than a decade and have been re-invented time and time again.

But now your beloved 'can only just squeeze into them' skinny jeans might not be the most fashionable.

Instead, shoppers are looking for variation when it comes to their denim and something a tad roomier.

"Straight fit started, and then it just went wider and wider to super-loose, high and loose, cropped and wide."

There's one style, in particular, that's making a comeback and you might still have a pair tucked away from the 70s.

So it's pretty much official, skin-tight denim has been switched out for something a little looser, or flared.

How do Kiwi denim wearers feel about that? Newshub spoke to some who think skinny jeans are still cool:

"We've been having this debate recently! Yeah, we talked about this last week! Still cool but not if you're a Gen-Z-er."

This Week in Logistics News (April 24 - 30) - Logistics Viewpoints

In other sustainability news, the InBev 100+ Accelerator is adding some big-name companies: Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, and Unilever. The 100+ Accelerator was launched in 2018 as a global incubator program to help solve supply chain challenges across water stewardship, circular economy, sustainable agriculture, and climate action. The partners help to fund and pilot start-ups in their sustainability innovation plans. So far, the 100+ Accelerators start-ups have green cleaning solutions to reduce water waste and energy use, collected more than 1,000 tons of glass waste, recycled electric vehicle batteries that store renewable electricity, and installed the first solar thermal system at an AB InBev plant.

As e-commerce continues to grow, more and more retailers are trying to find ways to compete with Amazon. And these retailers could certainly use some help. FedEx and Adobe are teaming up to offer this help, announcing a deal aimed at helping retailers meet e-commerce demand by sharing data across digital sales and distribution networks. Adobe is integrating FedEx's recently acquired ShopRunner e-commerce service, which provides expedited delivery from more than 100 merchants, with the software provider's digital commerce platform. The agreement will help businesses that sell on Adobe's platform offer free two-day shipping and other services, such as easy returns.

Increased demand for consumer goods, especially as the pandemic has lingered on, are exacerbating the capacity crunch. And a nationwide shortage of truck drivers is making things worse, helping to drive up prices at stores across the country. According to the American Trucking Association (ATA), almost 75 percent of all freight is transported by truck. The ATA estimates the industry will need a million more drivers over the next decade and could use about 100,000 more right now. A lack of drivers is causing delays which is part of the reason deliveries are starting to cost consumers more. Add in rising fuel, equipment, and insurance costs, and the prices continue to climb.

Stop wearing baggy golf shorts | Golf Equipment: Clubs, Balls, Bags | Golf Digest

As comfortable as your favorite golf shorts might be, chances are some improvements can be made to enhance the look. It's time to pay a little more attention to the proper length, fit and design of your golf shorts as it relates to your specific body type. Before you run for the hills with your extra long shorts in tow, hear us out. No, you do not have to expose your entire upper thigh in pursuit of fashion, but let's consider the options.

The key to finding a suitable pair of golf shorts is proportions. You want to make sure you highlight the good and draw less attention to the not-so-good. Similar to the white-belt-dark-pant debate, you don't want your outfit to accentuate the waistline, if it's a neglected area. Shorts that are too long or too baggy can make your body look disproportionate.

When it comes to length, typically the rule is to find a pair that ends about an inch above the knee. The most popular inseam (a.k.a. length) for men's shorts is around 7-to-9-inches long. This will work for most body types. Shorter inseams—7-inches or less—will suit slim and athletic body types. Huskier builds can consider a slightly longer length to elongate the frame, but remember, shorts that are too long will make you appear shorter.

Too many golfers avoid bottoms labeled as "slim cut" because they are afraid they'll be too tight and restricting. Slim cut shorts will actually create a slimmed-down look and a properly designed pair of golf shorts will have enough stretch and performance element to keep you comfortable. You don't want your shorts to be skin tight, but a pair that parachutes out from the waist just isn't right either.

If you have a favorite pair of shorts that you're now realizing are just a tad too long, don't be afraid to have them tailored. Tailoring is a great way to find a customized fit on the pieces you know and love. Many brands, like lululemon, even offer complimentary tailoring in-house. For a quick or short-term fix, you can also try rolling up the bottom of your shorts a fold or two.

You'll want to pay extra attention to prints and patterns when it comes to golf shorts. While a great way to show personality and spice up an outfit, large prints or patterns tend to accentuate the waistline. Stick to solids or micro-prints on the bottom for a more streamlined look.

The 6 Biggest Autumn/Winter 2021 Shoe Trends | British Vogue

What's the rush? Moving slowly is the post-Covid way – we're all about taking things serenely these days. Furthermore, a slower pace is all the more conducive to showing off your metallic boots, polished to a shine courtesy of Prada, Victoria Beckham, Jil Sander and Gucci. And the ultimate prize for autumn's leaden-footed ladies? Enter: Balenciaga's armoured boots, made to Demna Gvasalia's exact specification in a traditional medieval armoury in the south of France.

Riding, running, hiking, biking – after a year of international lockdowns where respite was inevitably found in the natural world, designers tapped into the great outdoors for autumn with a series of designs that boast all-terrain appeal. From sturdy English walking boots at Max Mara to elegant reworkings of classic equestrian boots at Gucci, rubberised wellington shoes at Givenchy to snow boots via a collaboration with Moon Boot at Chloé, adventure is guaranteed with purchase.

If you haven't yet invested in a pair of sleek, knee-high leather boots – well, this could be your year. The podiatric equivalent to an AeroPress coffee (if you know, you know), grown-up, high-heeled exemplars in classic black and dark brown lent louche elegance to looks at Hermès, Fendi, Michael Kors and Louis Vuitton. And if you'd rather stick to flats, set your style compass to The Row, Etro and Valentino.

2020 was a year of protesting and platforming. See where we're going here? Forgive the glib politicisation of a catwalk trend that is essentially about boosting your height (sometimes it's hard to think of puns in a pandemic), and embrace the extra inches. From chunky Mary-Janes in jewel-bright satins at Versace to pearl-studded turbo brogues at Loewe and Simone Rocha, these are shoes guaranteed to make you stand tall.

Rejoice, fuzzy Birkenstock converts. The house shoe trend is still hot and cosy for fall. Shearling-lined slippers and sandals grounded smart WFH-adjacent looks at Altuzarra, Simone Rocha, Coach and Chloé, while full on shaggy boots dominated Alpine-bound collections at Chanel and Miu Miu.

The #Girlboss trope may have left the building after a long overdue moment of reckoning. But it seems her shoes haven't. Noughties-tinged, pointed power pumps made their presence felt at Valentino and Michael Kors; '90s-style sling-backs made a triumphal return at Gucci (expect to see those Tom Ford-era reissues everywhere come autumn); and prim, cone-heeled styles popped up at Balmain, Dries Van Noten and Moschino.

Mark Zuckerberg Says He Caked His Face in Sunscreen to Dupe the Paparazzi | Complex

Also he made the observation that that plan totally backfired, so if that’s the first thing that popped into your head (like me) he already pointed it out.

The doofus moment in question happened when he was attempting to relax in Hawaii this past summer. At the time he put so much sunblock on his face he got compared to the ‘60s Joker, Data from  Star Trek , mimes, Mrs. Doubtfire with the cake on his face, and Flanders in that skin-tight skiing suit for reasons you could probably figure out if you’re familiar with the meme:

“I really should have thought that one through more,” he said, according to CNET. “I noticed there was this paparazzi guy following us and, so I was like, ‘Oh I don’t want him to recognize me so you know what I’m gonna do? I’m just gonna put a ton of sunscreen on my face.’ And that backfired.”

Of this most recent Q&A he went on to say that he learned his lesson. “No one needs to be wearing that much sunscreen,” he continued. He also said that there’s a “delta” separating how cool you think you look versus how you actually look when doing these types of activities. “I’m glad people can laugh about it. I laugh about it and I think it’s pretty funny.”

Jennifer Aniston Stuns In Plunging Bodysuit For L.A. Dinner Date - The Inquisitr

Jennifer Aniston is taking the plunge in a skin-tight black bodysuit and casual boyfriend jeans for her weekend dinner date. The 52-year-old actress, still rocking the girl-next-door look that the world fell in love with back in the '90s, was last week photographed on L.A. streets and in the dark as she grabbed dinner with friends. The Friends alum, whose $2 million-an-episode earnings on The Morning Show are now twice the $1 million a pop she earned on Friends , hit up Los Angeles with famous friends, but fans would likely argue she outshone everyone. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photos. They come as Jennifer continues to make headlines for the Apple TV show she stars on alongside Reese Witherspoon, but the sitcom star was, for this night, out with another famous face - or two.

Dining out with Jimmy Kimmel's wife Molly McNearney and movie director Will Speck, Jennifer looked gorgeous, wearing ripped and slightly-cropped blue jeans, a tight bodysuit showing her toned arms, plus little heeled black booties. Keeping COVID-safe, Aniston also wore a white face mask.

The actress, whose layered long hair defined a generation and also brought her a lucrative promo gig with cosmetics giant L'Oreal, wore her locks straight and down, also sporting a white manicure and wearing silver jewelry.

Theroux is fresh from opening up to Esquire , with, it would seem, he had only good things to say about his ex. He and Jen were together from 2011 to 2018, including their brief marriage.

"I would say we've remained friends," he revealed: "We don't talk every day, but we call each other. We FaceTime. We text. Like it or not, we didn't have that dramatic split, and we love each other. I'm sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship." More below.

Jennifer, who has fronted mega brands including Aveeno and Emirates Airlines, now has a new gig. She's partnered up with health brand Vital Proteins, with an Instagram post this year telling her 36.6 million Instagram followers:

"I'm so excited to (finally) announce that I'm joining @vitalproteins as the Chief Creative Officer 🥳. Years ago I started using Vital Proteins regularly... so when the opportunity presented itself to be a part of the brand in a bigger way, I jumped on it."
