If there's one thing Jennifer Lopez is known for — other than her iconic contributions to the music, film and fashion world — it's her famous glowing skin . Beauty lovers everywhere talk about it, dream about it and, of course, want to know the secret to getting it! That includes me, so you can imagine how ecstatic I was when the triple threat dropped her very own skin care collection.
The JLo Beauty line features a wide range of products, including a cleanser, serum, sunscreen, complexion booster, eye cream, sheet mask and a hydrating "wonder" face cream. The brand claims that the formula's "magic" ingredient is its proprietary olive complex, which stems from a skin care family tradition passed down from Lopez's mother.
Honestly, I fell in love with this collection before I even touched a single product, all because of its sleek and luxurious-looking packaging. The bottles have a rose gold finish, and each jar is encased in shiny clear acrylic. (And I secretly love how they look on my vanity.)
Since I don't have an expert glam team at my beck and call to give me that "Jenny from the Block" look, I had to get my hands on a few of these products and try them for myself. The results left me speechless and my skin radiant.
I truly believe that the key to youthful skin is applying sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher!) every single day, so I love that this brightening moisturizer offers sun protection and a hydrating complex. One of the key ingredients is marine bamboo, which blocks blue light and free radicals. Most of my days are spent in front of a computer or phone screen, so this moisturizer has become a more than welcome new addition to my daily skin care routine!
This serum has become my "secret sauce" of the line to achieve that JLo glow. After only a few weeks of use, I can already see the change in the elasticity and plumpness of my skin. The complex blend of squalane, fermented oil, leaf extract, and extra-virgin olive oil keeps my skin tight and lifted. After each application, I started to see a brighter and dewier complexion in the mirror.
This all-over complexion booster is just what I need to give my skin a radiant boost. The formula is blendable and lightweight, so you can wear it under your makeup or as an enhancing highlighter. I like to tap some of this onto my decolletage as well as my cheekbones, nose and upper lip for a touch of contour.
That Star Filter comes in four shades to match varying skin tones, though I opted to try pink champagne and warm bronze. For my fair skin, the lighter color was a better fit, but I plan to use the bronze pigment in the summer.
My dull and dry skin has been longing for this ultra-moisturizing cream! This is packed with skin-loving ingredients like peptides, antioxidants and my personal favorite, hyaluronic acid. I have naturally oily-to-combination skin, so I limit my application to nighttime only. But when I put this cream on, it visibly and instantly reduces the appearance of my forehead's fine lines and wrinkles.

The Best Cher Movie Performances, Ranked
God, there's just something about watching Cher knock men down a peg. She just turned 75, and it still hasn't gotten old.
Given Cher's enduring on- and offscreen self-made wonder-woman persona, it's easy to gloss over the course correction responsible for it. As The Witches of Eastwick asserts, sometimes it takes a man to help a woman step into her power. Her early biography is dominated by first husband Sonny Bono, her constant co-star during her first forays into acting via The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour , which debuted in 1971 and remains notable for its namesakes' cheeky marital banter . On it and the variety shows that followed ( Cher, hosted solo, and post-divorce reunion The Sonny and Cher Show ), her well-timed retorts and bored-wife act hint at the unfazed feminine persona she would spend the rest of her career perfecting. But as it happens, unshackling from Sonny was no blaze of feminist glory. Her then-lover and music-industry magnate David Geffen did the legwork of negotiating her out of Sonny's contracts, which he'd compare to "slave labor."
Cher didn't waste her freedom. Determined to act, she embarked on Hollywood in earnest in the 1980s, the confidence of her performances and her characters belying profound professional anxiety. She nearly backed out of Silkwood for fear of working with Meryl Streep (their on-set friendship endures to this day) and was shattered when people laughed upon seeing her name in the trailer. She thought Moonstruck was a nonstarter. She "wasn't sure" about her acting in Mermaids .
Throughout her '80s heyday, Cher on film was the diva unmasked and un-Mackie'd . She wept when she realized how dowdy Silkwood director Mike Nichols wanted her to look, then embraced such transformations again and again. But transformation is Cher's entire game. That she silenced the scoffs by becoming a respected actress is so quintessentially Cher. We gave her an inch and she took home an Oscar.
Oh, did I mention that she's stunning? Cinema is the art of glittering images, and Cher glitters. Nowadays her mere appearance onscreen is cause for celebration . That's not to suggest her immaculate bone structure ever did the heavy lifting; in fact, given nothing to do but sing pretty and look hot in feature debut Good Times , she's hopeless. It is precisely because Cher made herself into an idealized modern woman — not just sexy, but funny, frank, ambitious, smart, and talented — then channeled that persona into her roles that we love to watch her fight and win battles of the sexes. Her femininity crackles with energy. "Are you always this aggressive after sex?" Bob Hoskins asks her in Mermaids , post-coitus and incredulous. Her effortless answer says it all: "You call this aggressive?"
With all due respect to Osmosis Jones, few filmographies have aged worse than the Farrelly brothers', to whom the pinnacle of comedy is located at roughly the same height as some schmuck's scrotum stuck in a zipper. But if the formula works and results in infinite production dollars, stick to it! That likely explains how Stuck On You netted Greg Kinnear and Matt Damon as hockey-playing and burger-flipping conjoined twins Walt and Bob . In all fairness, the premise is one of the Farrellys' more humane: The twins move to L.A. so Walt can pursue his acting dreams and Bob can meet his online girlfriend. Once there, they encounter Cher (as herself but noxiously diva-fied and startlingly unfunny), who is herself desperate to weasel out of a TV show that "makes Touched by an Angel look like Trainspotting ." In an attempt to get the whole affair canceled, she requests Walt as her co-star. The plan backfires and turns Cher into the butt of so many boring jokes, including an ass-expanding visual gag and a scene of her watching TV in bed with Frankie Muniz. (Get it?! Because Cher likes younger men! And a woman choosing to date Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise in their primes instead of shrivel up and die at age 35 is pedophilia!) Her performance is as tired as the rest of the movie, but as for the "Cher the Wealth" sign hanging above her office, well, credit where it's due.
Pre-'80s cinema Cher is a truly unfortunate state of affairs, and the same can be said for Chastity . Having failed to recapture those crazy youths with the abject failure of Good Times , the couple pivoted to a zeitgeist-y road movie about a lost girl looking for love. Sonny does not grace us with his presence, but he remains in the driver's seat as screenwriter and producer with a suffocating air of, "How do you do, fellow kids?" Cher plays the titular role of a young runaway spouting '60s free-spirit nonsense — "Why do people have to be something? I don't want to be anything right now," or cringier yet, "I don't dig the way people use God" and "I wonder why dykes are dykes" — while rebuffing men, at least until she decides to give prostitution a whirl in a Mexican border town. The movie's most egregious narrative device is Chastity's childhood sexual trauma, which she deals with by flinging herself around strangers' houses, albeit with manic conviction. Cher is hopeless here, bound to a stilted inner-monologue voiceover, a half-baked lesbian-relationship sequence, and insistent close-ups. Smack dab in the middle of cinema's finest era for lost girls (Estelle in More and Daria in Zabriskie Point , for instance), Chastity offers no real explanation for its protagonist's directionless-ness or its own. No wonder she stuck to TV for the next decade.
Drenched in the golden light and classical romance of the Florentine sun, Tea With Mussolini is about as breezy as World War II movies get, taking a light touch to the historical gravitas and voyeuristic moral incredulity that is the subgenre's dramatic currency. Cher gives an overflowing performance as vivacious American socialite Elsa, who's partial to Picasso, fur stoles in summer, champagne, and the rich husbands who pay for it all. She's one of a handful of sophisticated expat women involved in raising a local boy, their status abroad in jeopardy as fascism creeps through Italy. Draped in spectacular Ermanno Scervino costumes, Cher's Elsa radiates the insouciance of a pre-war American expat. When asked if all American women are as exciting as she is (following a verse of "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" in that sumptuous contralto), she puffs on her cigarette and drawls a languid, "Alas. No." This moment alone justifies why director Franco Zeffirelli thought she was the only woman for the part . Elsa is romantic and ostentatious but commands a perceptiveness and self-awareness that Cher doesn't have to force, playing the ideal foil to Maggie Smith's sniffing aristocrat Lady Hester. Against a backdrop of swaying cypruses, winding streets, and cathedral frescoes, Cher, Lily Tomlin, and the dames (Smith, plus Joan Plowright and Judi Dench) ham it up without getting melodramatic. Fascist dictators come and go, but la dolce vita is forever.
Cyprus' devout want no part of Eurovision entry 'El Diablo' - ABC News
Both RIK and singer Elena Tsagrinou, who represents Cyprus in the contest underway this week in the Netherlands, say critics have misinterpreted the lyrics of "El Diablo" and that it's actually about an abusive relationship between two lovers.
The song passed its first competition hurdle during a Tuesday semifinal and made it into the contest's final round, set for Saturday in Rotterdam.
The people protesting Wednesday saw that as no cause for celebration, insisting that "El Diablo" is an affront to Cypriots' Orthodox faith.
The Cypriot government has said that while dissent is respected, freedom of expression cannot be quashed.
Police also charged a man with uttering threats and causing a disturbance when he barged onto the grounds of the public broadcaster to protest what he condemned as a "blasphemous" song.
She said dealing with COVID-19 restrictions was tough while preparing for the contest, "but that's not going to keep us back, and we're going to feel the vibe that we want to feel and the smile on our face."

Brazilian Charles Oliveira mounted a superb comeback to score a second-round knockout victory over American Michael Chandler to win the UFC lightweight title in the main event of UFC 262 in Houston, Texas on Saturday. Fighting for the title left vacant by the retirement of Khabib Nurmagomedov last October, Oliveira escaped an early guillotine choke attempt and took Chandler's back, but the 35-year-old former Bellator champion was able to escape and land a string of powerful punches to leave Oliveria hanging on at the end of the first frame. He collected himself in the break and came out strong again, dropping Chandler with a sweet left hook and following up with powerful strikes to force referee Dan Miragliotta to call a halt to the contest 19 seconds into the second round.

Balenciaga Restores Its Founder's Salon for Debut Couture Show
After 53 years, Balenciaga is returning to haute couture in July. And for the historic moment, the brand has chosen a fittingly historic location.
In what is sure to be a highlight of Paris Couture Week, Demna Gvasalia's first high fashion collection will take place in a fully restored version of founder Cristóbal Balenciaga's original couture salon.
The brand still has a store at the historic address, 10 Avenue Georges V – which also inspired its own perfume – but the couture salon had been closed for over half a century. Now the location's second floor has been renovated as an identical replica of Cristóbal Balenciaga's original space.
In addition to doing away with seasons to show only once a year, Balenciaga's high fashion showcase will also include couture for men. "Couture represents freedom of creativity and freedom in fashion," Gvasalia told WWD . "And that's maybe the reason why I wanted to do it so badly," he said. "I believe strongly that couture actually may save fashion, in its modern way."

'Pink: All I Know So Far' Review: She's Still a Rock Star, and a Mom - Variety
In the most scintillating sequence of the backstage concert documentary “ Pink: All I Know So Far ,” the title punk empress, with her platinum cockatoo swirl, caps off her 2019 tour of Europe with a show at London’s ginormous Wembley Stadium, in which she performs the rousing “f— you” anthem “So What” while being hoisted into the air by pulleys attached to a ring that clamps around her waist. In the grand history of rock ‘n’ roll showmanship, a handful of musicians have found ways to literally hover over the crowd. But I’ve never seen anything quite like this.
Cued to the moment when Pink sings “ So what! I’m still a rock star ,” she is lifted up in her skin-tight red-glitter suit, her body twirling forward in a 360-degree rotation. (She’s singing the whole time, but as Pink says in the film, “I’m a better singer upside down.”) Before long, she’s flying over the audience, an incandescent speck of spangled charisma soaring through the thunderdome of Wembley like Tinkerbell infused with the spirit of Joan Jett. It’s an uncanny piece of kinetic theater: so over-the-top it’s funny, so impeccably timed to the rhythm of the song it’s cathartic. Few rock stars could attempt a stunt like this (Pink was trained as a gymnast), and you wouldn’t want them to, any more than you’d have wanted to see someone try to match Elton John’s costume-shop flamboyance in the 1970s. When Pink takes off into the stadium stratosphere, she’s expressing something personal: a jaunty freedom, the fluky joy that floats through her music.
Sounds nice, and maybe a bit boring, but it’s actually, in its way, quite moving and political. Early on, Pink says that when it comes to rock stars who are the parents of young children, “I know it’s a lot easier for men, just primally, to walk out the door and not look back. It just is. There’s no way a mother can walk away from her babies and not think about them every single second of every single day and not worry, to the point where you can’t sleep.” The result, says Pink, is that for rock stars who are women, “they stop touring. Because you can’t imagine being able to do both.”
Is what we see here too good to be true? Well, we never learn what happens with her kids when Pink is touring during the non-summer months. “All I Know So Far” is a deliberately even-keeled movie, without that touch of high maintenance that lent drama to a doc like “Gaga: Five Foot Two.”
What keeps it interesting is that Pink, even while playing up the parenting, has the highly visible perfectionism that, in rock docs, it its own form of charisma. The film kicks off with Pink in concert singing “Get the Party Started” while hanging from a chandelier that’s like a giant swimming-pool float. And she goes on to make a touching connection between the baroquely executed grandeur of her shows and the fact that her single mother, an ER nurse who could scarcely afford it, would take her from Pennsylvania into New York City once a year to see “Les Miz” or “La Cage aux Folles” or “The Phantom of the Opera.” Those shows spoke to her, as did a Cher concert in which she focused on Cher’s gymnastic dancers, twirling and unfurling in the air, rolling down ribbons, and began to wonder why she couldn’t do the same thing.
The songs are the golden nuggets you expect, all performed with a thrilling sonic clarity. “Beautiful Trauma” is a gorgeous fable of bad romance, one that became an instant anthem; the crowd chants along with it. The deliciously syncopated “Hustle” is an aggro party propulsion machine. A disappointment: The film finds no room for “Just Give Me a Reason,” the broken-love duet Pink recorded with Nate Ruess that might just be her greatest song. I’ve always wondered how personal the lyrics are, and you can only guess whether Pink and her husband, who seem such a finely oiled unit, ever came to such a blasted moment of truth. You’d guess that they did, but watching “All I Know So Far,” you don’t see it. You just see a happy and functional rock ‘n’ roll family, close the way that any family is, only with 90 million records sold.
AJ McLean Talks "Love Song Love," Wanting An Invite To The Met Gala & His Support
When it comes to AJ McLean , one thing is for sure; he is authentic, edgy, fun, fearless, expressive, and game-changing, all rolled into one. And, that's made loud and clear in his brand new single, "Love Song Love."
Co-written by Mitch Allen, Jesse Saint John, and John Paulson and produced by Allen, the upbeat, dance-worthy bop finds McLean, sympathizing with folks who are longing to have the kind of storybook romance that keeps them awake all night."You know the feeling, and you wanna feel it / You know what your missing and you want that love," McLean sings the song, which he says he was drawn to the first time he heard it.
"Love Song Love" is a taste of what fans can expect to hear from McLean in the future as he continues to embark on his solo career. Fans can find "Love Song Love" on McLean's forthcoming EP, due out at a later this year.
McLean caught up with Music Mayhem to talk about his new music, being an ally to the LGTBQ+ community, fatherhood, Backstreet Boys, and more. Continue reading to learn more about what McLean's been up to below!
Let's start off by chatting about your current solo debut single, "Love Song Love." Can you tell us a little bit about that song and how it came about?
Well, as you mentioned, you've been a long-time advocate of the LGTBQ+ community, on both not only your solo career, but also as a member of Backstreet Boys as well. What does it mean to you to be able to use your platform to be able to shine a light on the LGBTQ+ community?
So, going back to the music video, your sense of style and the fashion within the video is incredible, and I'm getting all types of different vibes from fashion icons like Boy George to current day's Harry Styles. Like what was your biggest fashion inspiration moving into that, and will that transition into your solo career as a whole, or was it just for that video?
Yes, it will transition into my solo career as a whole. You know, I have always for years been very comfortable with my sexuality, been very comfortable with trying new things, especially when it comes to fashion. I went as far as, you know, wearing a dress at my wedding, a custom-made corset, six- inch Louboutins, which I rocked on the dance floor, by the way, I'm very proud to say. (laughing) You know, a lot of women at my wife and I's wedding were very jealous that I was able to dance in those heels, and they were struggling with theirs.
And you'll definitely see a lot more of style with me moving forward. If you want to call it androgynous, if you want to call it, whatever you want to call it, it's just me expressing myself, and yeah, I'm really excited. I've even talked to my wife about maybe dabbling in, you know, wigs, and, you know, having some fun, so who knows? You know? It's definitely gonna be a lot more freedom for me.
