Priyanka Chopra exposes serious cleavage as she goes BRALESS in head-turning BAFTA outfit |

Wearing her dark tresses up in a high ponytail, the 38-year-old opted for an unusual ensemble for the event at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The embroidered number featured delicate florals throughout, as well as high collar and long sleeves.

Priyanka teamed her top with white, draped trousers, which further ensured the focus was on the first half of her ensemble.

The singer was seen kissing his wife's cheek and the pair happily packed on the PDA for photographers.

Priyanka will be handing out a statuette tonight during the main ceremony, which will be broadcast on BBC One.

She is joined by the likes of Asim Chaudhry, Sophie Cookson, Phoebe Dynevor, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Cynthia Erivo, Hugh Grant, Richard E. Grant, Tom Hiddleston, Felicity Jones, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, James McAvoy, David Oyelowo, Pedro Pascal and Jonathan Pryce.

Bridgerton actress Phoebe was also wowing outside the famed venue in the captial, before taking to the stage.

With her red locks worn down in glamorous waves, the Daphne Bridgerton favourite stuck to all black for the biggest night in film in the UK.

Letting her gown do all the talking, Phoebe chose minimum jewellery, in the form of a sparking ring and dangly earrings.

[Full text] Effect of additional embryo transfer on the pregnancy rate | IJWH

The Effect of Additional Embryo Transfer on the Pregnancy Rate in Young Women Receiving in vitro Fertilization: A Natural Experiment Study

Simple observational studies on the impact of different treatments may be inaccurate due to confounding factors and reverse causality. 9 Natural experiments are defined as a research approach which evaluates large-scale population health interventions that are not amenable to experimental allocation. 9 This approach enables researchers to measure the changes in outcome that may be plausibly attributed to the intervention. 10–12

The main outcome measures were intrauterine pregnancy and multiple gestations, determined via serum hCG measured in gestational week 4, and TVS performed in week 5–6. Biochemical or ectopic pregnancy was defined as serum hCG >20 IU/mL in week 4 and the absence of an intrauterine gestational sac in week 5–6. We defined intrauterine pregnancy as the presence of one or more gestational sacs in week 5–6.

We also assessed baseline clinical characteristics for fresh ET cycles, such as thin endometrium (<7 mm), elevated serum P4 (>1.5 ng/mL) at the time of hCG injection, decreased ovarian reserve (total number of oocytes <5), and season of embryo transfer. For frozen ET cycles, thin endometrium and season of embryo transfer were assessed as baseline clinical characteristics.

We first compared baseline clinical characteristics between the ET cycles conducted in the 34- and 35-year-old groups. This included mean endometrial thickness on the day of hCG injection; number of oocytes, fertilized eggs, and transferred embryos; P4 concentration on the day of hCG initiation; the proportions of fresh ET and blastocyst transfer; and the proportion of intrauterine pregnancies, biochemical or ectopic pregnancies, and multiple gestations.

Continuous variables were compared between two groups using Student’s t -test. Pearson’s Chi-squared test with Yates’ continuity correction was used to compare categorized variables. Further, we calculated unadjusted and adjusted risk ratios (RRs) of intrauterine pregnancy and multiple gestations for additional ET, including baseline characteristics as covariates to adjust for potential confounding effects. As some patients were included more than once, we performed logistic regression using a generalized linear mixed models to account for intraindividual differences in IVF outcomes. 15 All analyses were performed using the open source software package, R ver. 3.6.2 (R Core Team, 2019, Vienna, Austria).

Of the 1909 ET cycles, half of the cycles (51.2%) were conducted in patients aged 35. In all ET cycles performed in this age group, additional ET was performed in 68.7% of patients. There were no differences in endometrial thickness, serum P4 level on the day of hCG initiation, or number of retrieved oocytes or fertilized eggs ( Table 1 ). More embryos were transferred in the 35-year-old group than in the 34-year-old group. The overall intrauterine pregnancy rate was 6.1% higher in 35-year-old women than in 34-year-old women (51.3% vs 45.2%, P < 0.001). Biochemical or ectopic pregnancies occurred in 4.5% of cycles in both groups. In cycles yielding intrauterine pregnancy, the 35-year-olds experienced a higher (P < 0.001) multiple gestation rate (30.5%) than did the 34-year-olds (6.9%).
Table 1 Characteristics of 1909 Fresh and Frozen Embryo Transfer Cycles of 34‒35-Year-Old Women

Upon comparing stratified proportions, the intrauterine pregnancy rate with fresh cycles was similar between patients receiving additional ET cycles and those who did not, both for day 2–4 and day 5–6 transfers ( Table 2 ). In patients receiving frozen ET cycles of day 5–6 embryos, the intrauterine pregnancy rate was higher (P < 0.001) in patients receiving additional ET than in those not receiving additional ET (71.7% vs 52.9%). The multiple pregnancy rate was higher in patients who had received day 5–6 ET than in patients who had received day 2–4 ET, both for fresh (36.0% vs 0.0%) and frozen (44.0% vs 0.0%) ET cycles.
Table 2 Frequencies of Intrauterine Pregnancy and Multiple Pregnancy Among Intrauterine Pregnancy Cases, 1909 Cycles of 34–35-Year-Old Women

According to our generalized linear mixed models, the adjusted RR of intrauterine pregnancy upon additional ET was 1.16 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.84–1.60) for fresh day 2–4 cycles and 0.93 (95% CI: 0.66–1.30) for fresh day 5–6 cycles, with no difference for any of these ( Figure 2 ). In patients undergoing frozen day 2–4 ET cycles, the RR of intrauterine pregnancy upon additional ET was 0.67 (95% CI: 0.25–1.79). In patients undergoing frozen day 5–6 ET cycles, additional ET increased the probability of intrauterine pregnancy (1.34, 95% CI: 1.12–1.59).

The Summer Of Thirst Trap Short Shorts For Men Is Here

Brands, too, began minimizing the coverage on their shorts. Isabel Marant's men's swim trunks have gotten skimpier with each warm-weather season, with this summer's selection including slits up both sides of the shorts for even more leg cleavage. Swedish men's underwear brand CDLP went even shorter, making what appears to be swim trunks with a two-inch inseam . And, of course, there are Patagonia's Baggies, the five-inch seam, $55 shorts that went viral last summer . With another summer approaching, Ventimiglia's recent look, and so many short shorts on the market (all modeled by my personal crushes), the season of short shorts is almost upon us.

Baftas 2021: Priyanka Chopra, Phoebe Dynevor lead glam on red carpet | Metro News

Due to the ongoing pandemic, all of tonight's nominees will be watching the ceremony from home, with only hosts Edith Bowman and Dermot O'Leary and a handful of presenters actually present at the Royal Albert Hall.

Priyanka Chopra, who is set to present an award tonight, mixed tradition and sex appeal with an embroidered jacket opened to reveal cleavage and a tasselled necklace.

She paired the statement top with white trousers, and of course her arm candy in the form of husband Nick Jonas.

The couple shared PDA in front of the cameras, with Nick looking dashing in a classic black tuxedo.

It seems Priyanka has a costume change in the works, though, as over on Instagram the 38-year-old wore a striking black dress with colourful butterfly detailing at the waist.

Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor opted for classic red carpet glamour, wearing an asymmetrical black gown with one full-length sleeve.

Cynthia Erivo always serves us drama on the red carpet, and the Baftas were no different, as she wowed in a metallic mini-dress featuring a glittering old skirt and a high-necked silver top.

The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal gave menswear a twist by wearing a long coat over a white shirt, paired with matching slacks and black dress shoes.

Hugh Grant walked the red carpet with his wife Anna, who sported dark hair and a sparkling mini-dress to compliment her husband's classic suit.

CVC Files Motion in Opposition to Broad Priority Motion | McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff

In its turn, Junior Party The University of California/Berkeley, the University of Vienna, and Emmanuelle Charpentier (collectively, "CVC") filed its motion in opposition to Senior Party The Broad Institute, Harvard University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (collectively, "Broad") motion for priority in Interference No. 106,115. CVC's motion challenges Broad's priority claim and the bases Broad set forth therein, rebutting Broad's legal arguments and mentioning more than once that Jennifer Doudna and Emmanuelle Charpentier received the 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry (and by implication that the Broad inventors had not).

Marraffini recalls that CVC's disclosure of tracrRNA as a necessary component in the catalytic DNA cleavage complex "as well [as] the development of the [sgRNA]" were "the most important findings that the team made" because, before CVC's breakthrough, no one knew that tracrRNA was an active component in the complex. Before June 26, 2012, Zhang had no concept of a sgRNA CRISPR-Cas9 system of Count because he was unaware that tracrRNA was a necessary component of the catalytic CRISPR-Cas9 DNA-cleavage complex. . . . Prior to June 2012, the art taught that tracrRNA was merely an intermediate cofactor that RNase III and Cas9 needed for RNA processing to generate mature crRNA guides from long, unprocessed pre-crRNAs. Marraffini confirmed [this understanding in the art], testifying that tracrRNA was only "known . . . to be involved in the generation of guide RNAs." Marraffini also testified that, before June 26, 2012, he and Zhang only discussed "the importance of tracr for what we knew at the time was generation of RNA guides," and that "the system, as we knew it , required RNase III to generate guides." [emphasis in brief]

Q: So you . . . did you generally convey the view to Dr. Zhang that you thought the single-guide RNA would be an important tool for genome editing?

When asked if he communicated to Zhang that CVC's sgRNA CRISPR-Cas9 system would be an important tool for genome editing in eukaryotes specifically, Marraffini stated unequivocally, "yes":

Q : [W]hen you first conveyed to Dr. Zhang the single -- single-guide RNA system described in Jinek 2012, did you convey to him that you thought it would be an important tool for genome editing in eukaryotes specifically?

Based on this testimony, CVC argues that the evidence shows that Broad's inventors, and specifically Dr. Zhang, derived their claimed invention from the CVC inventors through Dr. Marraffini. The brief further characterizes (turnabout being fair play) their own litany of purported "failures" by the Zhang lab, particularly with regard to the "fallback position" set forth in Broad's priority brief, that work performed prior to CVC's March 2012 conception date should be considered by the Board in making its priority determination. This work, on alternative systems for gene editing ( e.g ., TALEN and ZFN), is not CRISPR, CVC argues, and without knowledge of CVC's sgRNA discovery the Broad inventors were pursuing (fruitlessly) more complicated versions of CRISPR that required, inter alia , RNAse III and unprocessed tracr and crRNA fragments. Indeed, CVC argues that until Dr. Marraffini's disclosure of its invention to Dr. Zhang there was no recognition by the Broad inventors of the role and importance of tracr RNA.

CVC sets out its own summary timeline of events by the parties, modifying the timeline presented in Broad's priority motion according to CVC's version of events as supported by the evidence set forth in this brief:

Turning to Broad's evidence of actual reduction to practice, CVC makes the argument that the evidence is uncorroborated, because three of the witnesses (Sanjana, Cong, and Cox) set forth in this table are named as inventors, citing Chen v. Bouchard , 347 F.3d 1299, 1309 (Fed. Cir. 2003):

The brief further alleges failure of proof, no contemporaneous inventor recognition, and failure of corroboration, for each of Broad's purported actual reductions to practice of eukaryotic CRISPR on July 20, July 28, July 31, and August, 2012, and further argues that because Broad did not establish the actual August date for this last instance of ARTP, the Board should consider it to be August 31, which is after CVC's August 9, 2012 asserted ARTP date.
