Kim Kardashian has added billionaire to her resume. The cosmetics and shapewear businesswoman , who launched her career off the reality TV series "Keeping Up with The Kardashians," was included on Tuesday for the first time on Forbes magazine's list of the world's billionaires.
Forbes said it estimated that Kardashian, 40, "is now worth $1 billion, up from $780 million in October, thanks to two lucrative businesses — KKW and Skims — as well as cash from reality television and endorsement deals, and a number of smaller investments."

The Forbes estimate means Kardashian joins her soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye West in the billionaire's club. Forbes on Tuesday estimated West's net worth at $1.8 billion, mostly from deals on his Yeezy sneaker and fashion line.
Her half sister Kylie Jenner, however, lost her billionaire status, Forbes said on Tuesday. It valued the 23-year-old's fortune at around $700 million, citing a tough year for cosmetic sales during the coronavirus pandemic and what it said were previous overestimates of revenue from Kylie Cosmetics, now 51% owned by Coty Inc.
Kardashian founded KKW Beauty in 2017, promoting and selling the products online, helped by a social media presence that includes some 213 million Instagram followers. She launched the multihued shapewear line Skims in 2019.
Kardashian celebrated on Tuesday by posting a photo of herself in a bikini on a beach, with the caption "Bliss" and announcing the launch of the first Skims pop-up shop at a high-end shopping mall in Los Angeles.
Kim Kardashian Named a Billionaire Amid Kanye West Divorce
Kardashian's estranged husband, West, was previously named a billionaire by Forbes in April 2020. Last month, Bloomberg reported that the 43-year-old rapper's Yeezy brand is now valued between $3.2 billion and $4.7 billion, skyrocketing the Grammy winner's total worth to an estimated $6.6 billion, per the outlet.
While it's safe to say the former couple have plenty of money, sources told Us Weekly that Kardashian made an effort to sort out their assets before she filed for divorce in February .
"Her financial advisors to figure out an exit plan that would be best for her whole family," one source said in January. "Kim has had all of her and Kanye's financials and properties ready to be split, it's a very fair deal for everyone. Kim has all of her assets and financials ready for when she decides to file officially."
Another insider told Us at the time that Kardashian had high-profile divorce attorney Laura Wasser on retainer since July 2020.
"Kim wants the divorce settlement finalized before formally filing," a second source previously told Us , noting that "settlement talks" were "ongoing."
Kardashian and West tied the knot in 2014 and share four kids: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, who turns 2 next month.
Earlier this month, the reality TV personality celebrated her first major holiday without West, spending Easter Sunday with her sisters at mom Kris Jenne r's Palm Springs home . While the musician was noticeably missing from Kris' gifts for the family, Kardashian supported West by wearing two different pairs of Yeezy shoes during the holiday.

Here's Why Kim Kardashian's Team Had a Photo of Khloé Scrubbed From the Internet
It all started over the weekend, when Khloe and her fam were in Palm Springs for the Easter holiday. Though Khloe herself did share a photo in a purple bikini, lounging by the pool, those who follow Kris Jenner's mom, MJ, might have spotted a different pic of Khloe in a leopard-print swimsuit that looked a lot different from the one the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had shared herself.
The photo in question has disappeared, and now, Tracy Romulus, the Chief Marketing Officer for Kim Kardashian's KKW Beauty brand, has issued a statement to Page Six about what happened.
So far, Khloe herself hasn't addressed the photo, so at this point, it seems like she's leaving it to Kim's team to handle the situation.
It's understandable why she'd want the picture taken down if she didn't approve it, but at the same time, fans are admitting that seeing what might have been Khloe's "real," unedited body has helped them.
Maybe the reaction to the picture will change how Khloe approaches social media, but if nothing else, this situation is a solid reminder that celebs are real people, too.
The photo that shook up the Kardashian empire. You know the one we are talking about — the unedited photo of Khloé Kardashian that the family's team is working overtime to get removed from the internet. But the move looks controlling and unnecessary because this might be one of the most powerful moments the Kardashians […]
Kardashian's rep told Page Six that the photo of her standing by a pool was "posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant."
While she admits a scandal "introduced" her to the world, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star has become known for a lot more since then.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and the NBA player have been in an on-and-off relationship since 2016.

Kim Kardashian West 'plans to launch a skincare line' | Arts & Entertainment | djournal.com
The 40-year-old TV star has filed trademark documents in order to secure the rights to the skincare line that she now looks set to launch.
The documents suggest that Kim will attach the brand name to a wide range of products, including fragrances and cosmetic, as well as products for skin, hair and nails.
Kylie Jenner has already launched her own skincare line with Kylie Skin, and Kim - who launched her own beauty line, KKW Beauty, in 2017 - will be hoping to emulate her success in the industry.
Kim previously admitted that she approached 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' as a business opportunity and a chance to increase her profile.
She explained: "When the opportunity for our TV show came about, I wanted to do it to bring attention to our stores [which she'd opened with her sisters]. I was thinking this might not last very long, but we'll grow a great business and expand online.
Kim has more than 213 million followers on Instagram, and has admitted to looking at herself as a brand.
The brunette beauty - who has starred in the hit TV series since 2007 - said: "I definitely look at myself that way. I think that there's the Kim Kardashian brand and the Kardashian brand.
"I think they blend together, but I have different qualities or interests that my sisters might not be so into. But no matter what, we're family and super close. I think the brand will always represent family."
Kim Kardashian's Team Addresses 'Private' Photo of Khloe Kardashian
Tracy Romulus , the chief marketing officer of Kim Kardashian 's KKW Brands, spoke out after a "private" photo of Khloé Kardashian in a bathing suit went viral on social media.
The 36-year-old Good American cofounder made headlines for rocking a skimpy purple bikini over Easter weekend in Palm Springs with her family .
An alleged unauthorized and unedited photo from the same day subsequently surfaced online. While the Revenge Body host has yet to publicly comment on the picture, she has admitted to using Photoshop in the past.
"Khloé doesn't care about the backlash she's been getting from fans saying she doesn't look like herself in her recent photos," the source told Us exclusively in June 2020. "She thinks she looks great. And actually [she] does not care what people think as long as she's happy."

Syracuse basketball fan Jimmy Fallon addressed a controversial bit on "The Tonight Show" highlighting TikTok dances. The late-night host invited TikTok star Addison Rae on the show last month to perform eight viral dances , but Fallon was criticized for not crediting the original creators of those dances, many of whom are Black. "We recognize that the creators of those dances deserve to have their own spotlight, so right now some of the creators will join me to talk about how their dance went viral and then perform the dance themselves," Fallon said Monday. Mya Nicole Johnson and Chris Cotter spoke about their routine to Cardi B's "Up," YvnggPrince talked about the "Corvette Corvette" challenge, Fly Boy Fu and indii discussed the "Laffy Taffy (Remix)," Keara Wilson discussed her dance to Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage," and "Blinding Lights" dance creators MACDADDYZ shared their love of The Weeknd.
Kim Kardashian West is now officially a billionaire, Forbes announced Tuesday. The reality TV star was added to the magazine's Billionaires List selling 20% of her KKW Beauty brand to Coty, the same company that bought a majority stake in her sister's Kylie Cosmetics line, boosting Kim's net worth to $1 billion, up from $780 million in October. The soon-to-be ex-wife of rapper Kanye West also earns money from television and endorsement deals, and a number of smaller investments, making her the richest member of the "Keeping Up the Kardashians" family. (Kylie Jenner was previously named a billionaire last year, but Forbes later said her net worth had been falsely documented and she is currently worth about $700 million.)

At least the Sopranos and the Corleones are fictional and have better story-arcs and grander conflicts. In contrast, the British royal family has only petty bickering over cutlery and Earl Grey tea.
Which brings me to the 'oh so scandalous' Oprah interview of Meghan Markle. Forgive me for being cold, but I am finding it difficult to empathise with someone for whom it took being married into the family to discover the deep racism and snobbery of the British royal family. I would have thought you just needed to read a history book to know that.
Listening to her complaints against the British Royals, true as they may be, was like hearing someone saying Pol Pot does not tip well or that Stalin has an anger problem. To borrow a phrase frequently used by comedian John Oliver, how, given their terrible legacy, is the British royal family and the collective obsession with their members, still 'a thing'?
Bravo. For writing a great blog - although under the disguise of humour. Totally agree with the view. I think the obsession with British royals is also supremely manufactured one . And as long as Americans, who has money to spend to this succour, continue to spend on tourist dollars, it will continue. There are other Kings and Queens in the world, hardly anyone talks about them as there is no tourist dollars spend for them. ... Read More Read More -->

Kim Kardashian's New 2021 Cadillac Escalade Is Tastefully Customized
Believe it or not, Kim Kardashian actually has a pretty solid track record when it comes to her personal fleet of vehicles. Most of them have either been left stock, or else tastefully modded. Her Rollers, Bentleys, and Ferraris haven't quite cut against the grain in the same way as, say, Kanye West's cars have. But her newest ride doesn't come from Great Britain or Italy. It hails right from Detroit, and we aren't ashamed to say we love it.
Her silver Cadillac Escalade might be slammed into the deck over a custom set of 26-inch, monoblock-looking wheels, but all things considered it's a well-rounded package. Platinum Motorsports revealed Kardashian's newest ride on Instagram . Custom painted in "KK Silver," the whole thing exudes an air of tastefulness that we typically don't associate with the Hollywood elite.
Not only that, but the new Escalade itself is a damn good starting point. Its supple ride, first-class cabin, and massive interior volume combine to make for the perfect Hollywood mom car—especially as seen here in long-wheelbase, ESV guise. We doubt lowering it did much for the ride, but you have to do something to stand out from the crowd, right?
