Katie Austin, the 28-year-old daughter of 64-year-old exercise video icon Denise Austin, proved that fitness runs in the family by slipping on one of her mom's old leotards to show off her own toned figure. Her proud mother took to Instagram to share a photo of Katie rocking the classic piece, and she also shared some exciting news with her followers.

Denise revealed that Katie is a finalist in the 2021 Sports Illustrated Swim Search competition, which means that she could appear in the pages of the magazine's star-making swimsuit issue.

Denise Austin is a fitness instructor and former gymnast who rose to fame in the late '80s. She appeared in a large number of aerobics videos, as well as the long-running fitness series Getting Fit , Denise Austin's Daily Workout , and Fit & Lite . She continues to share exercise and diet advice with her fans, and her daughter has followed in her footsteps. However, Katie is helping people get healthy in a more modern way by making a name for herself as a fitness influencer. She boasts a following of over 300,000 fans on Instagram, and she also has her own fitness app.

Denise shared side-by-side photos of herself and her daughter rocking the same white leotard with a zipper front and high-cut legs, which are currently very on-trend. The health guru revealed that the garment was 20 years old.

"It brings back so many wonderful memories!!!" Denise wrote of seeing her daughter wearing her old workout attire. "Soon Katie will be shooting for @si_swimsuit and I'm so thankful she's able to make one of her biggest dreams come true and create special memories of her own !! I love you Katie!!"

In her Sports Illustrated Swim Search profile , Katie revealed that 2019 cover model Camille Kostek inspired her to audition for the competition for the second time. She also said that one of her favorite recent SI Swim covers was from the same year as Camille's first. Soccer star Alex Morgan appeared on her own separate cover, and Katie found it encouraging and inspiring to see a female athlete celebrated in such a way.

"I feel like I represent the normal, athletic girl all over the world," Katie said of her own SI Swim aspirations. "I wanted to show the sporty girls that strong IS sexy."

Katie stated that she isn't changing her fitness routine or eating habits ahead of her photoshoot. Instead, she has decided to focus more on mentally preparing for the shoot by practicing "self-love and self-care."

While talking about what her Swim Search experience has been like so far, Katie revealed that she has become close with her fellow finalists. She described the group as supportive of one another, and she said that it feels like she has gained "a whole new group of friends."

Aaron Sorkin walks the Oscars red carpet with supermodel Paulina Porizkova - Hartford Courant

The "Trial of the Chicago 7" screenwriter graced the red carpet at the Oscars Sunday night with supermodel Paulina Porizkova, hinting at a Hollywood love affair.

The Czechoslovakian model, who covered Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue in 1984 at just 18 years old, recently opened up about getting back to dating.

"Talent to me is really sexy. One thing that I've recognized now, after going out on dates with some men who have normal jobs and are wonderful guys, is that I find talent sexy — and talented men are generally way more complicated than non-talented ones."

Sorkin's "The Trial of the Chicago 7″ is nominated for six Oscar awards, including Best Picture, but he missed out in the Best Directing category.

Christie Brinkley on hip replacement surgery 26 years after helicopter crash: 'I knew I had to do

In early 2021, the 67-year-old revealed on Instagram that she took some time for herself during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in 2020 to get hip replacement surgery after a helicopter crash in 1994. The accident occurred while the model was on a ski trip in Telluride, Colorado.

"I feel fantastic," the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit icon told Fox News. "I'm so glad that I did it. I almost wish I would have done both hips because my hip on the side that I did it feels so new! But really, I feel so great. I'm thrilled with it. Let's face it, one of the keys to staying youthful is a youthful attitude. And when you start to get limited by injuries, that's such a drag."

CHRISTIE BRINKLEY, 66, FLAUNTS HER FLAT ABS IN SELFIE: 'I AM OVERJOYED TO BE ABLE TO MOVE MY BODY AGAIN'

Brinkley was told 12 years ago that her hip needed to be replaced. However, the idea of surgery was too "daunting" at the time. She avoided it as long as possible, but the lingering pain couldn't be ignored.

When COVID-19 impacted the globe, the SBLA ambassador  realized the extra free time she found herself with was the perfect opportunity to finally address her health woes.

"I thought it was the time to do it," she said. "When it felt safer, I went to the doctor so I can finally accomplish this. And that's what I did. And I'm so happy I did."

"If you don't move, you will rust," Brinkley continued. "You've got to constantly find ways to stay healthy through daily exercise and good nutrition. And sometimes, it takes a good hip replacement to keep going. That way you can stay energetic."

The star's Instagram post revealed she had surgery at Thanksgiving and by New Year's Eve, she was dancing in her kitchen. During the New Year, she explored the coral reefs.

"When I was feeling good again, I started riding a stationary bike," she said. "I also use Total Gym, which is great for at-home body fitness."

The Oscars sees Aaron Sorkin, Paulina Porizkova make debut as a couple

Sorkin was nominated for a best original screenplay for his film "The Trial of the Chicago 7" but lost to "Promising Young Woman" scribe Emerald Fennell.

Meanwhile, the "Trial of the Chicago 7" director was married to Julia Bingham. They split in 2005 and share a daughter Roxie together.

The screenwriter and the supermodel, who have reportedly been dating for a few months, came forward as a couple Sunday on the Oscars red carpet.

The 93rd annual Academy Awards made history, and not just because we got to see Glenn Close twerking.

The 2021 Oscars brought back red carpet glamour after more than a year of Hollywood events disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, featured more diversity among the nominees than ever before, and honored ChloƩ Zhao, the China-born director of "Nomadland," as just the second woman to win best director, and the first woman of color to receive the prize.

Syracuse University alumnus Aaron Sorkin didn't win any Oscars for "The Trial of the Chicago 7″ Sunday, but still smiled big as he walked the red carpet with supermodel Paulina Porizkova. It was their red carpet debut and the first time the 59-year-old filmmaker confirmed he's dating the 56-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit icon.

"Minari" standout Youn Yuh-Jung won best supporting actress Sunday, becoming the second Asian woman to do so. The 73-year-old South Korean actress also teased presenter Brad Pitt, whose company produced the movie shot in Oklahoma: "Mr. Brad Pitt, finally!" she said. "Nice to meet you."

Many expected late "Black Panther" star Chadwick Boseman would posthumously win the night's final prize for best actor for his performance in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom," including presenter Joaquin Phoenix, but Anthony Hopkins ended up winning for his portrayal of dementia in "The Father." Hopkins didn't attend, though, so the night ended with a very abrupt see-you-later from Phoenix accepting the award on his behalf.

Model Emily Ratajkowski to sell NFT at Christie's in bid to establish ownership over images of

The piece will be titled 'Buying Myself Back: A Model for Redistribution' and every time her NFT is resold, she will receive an undisclosed cut.

In an effort to reestablish "authority" over the usage of her likeness, Emily Ratajkowski, model and writer, is minting a nonfungible token, or NFT, which will be auctioned at Christie's on 14 May. The piece will be titled ' Buying Myself Back: A Model for Redistribution .'

As Ratajkowski chronicled in a widely read essay published in The Cut last fall, she'd been surprised to find out, in 2014, that a nude photograph of her was hanging in the Gagosian Gallery on Madison Avenue. As part of his ' New Portraits' series, artist Richard Prince had taken one of her Instagram photos and printed it on a large canvas, priced at $90,000.

Ratajkowski tried to buy the piece but a Gagosian employee bought it for himself. After contacting Prince's studio directly, though, she was able to obtain a second "Instagram painting" of herself, featuring a photo from her first appearance in Sports Illustrated 's swimsuit issue. She had been paid $150 for the shoot, she wrote, and a "couple grand" when the issue was published. She and her boyfriend at the time bought the piece for $81,000; when they broke up, she paid her ex $10,000 for a smaller "study" that Prince's studio had given her.

On Firstpost : Emily Ratajkowski's allegations against Jonathan Leder expose how artist-muse relation, consent are viewed

The image attached to the NFT is a digital composite showing Ratajkowski, photographed in her New York apartment, posing in front of the Prince painting that hangs in her Los Angeles home. (To remind: a nonfungible token is the metadata associated with the image file, allowing the file to be bought or sold like a physical piece of art.)

Instead of cash-based currency, NFTs are purchased using cryptocurrency like bitcoins or ether, and the transactions are permanently recorded on the respective currency's blockchain, which functions like a ledger. Ratajkowski is using the platform OpenSea to add her NFT to the Ethereum blockchain, but her NFT will be for sale in US dollars, and the fund transfer will happen "off-chain," a Christie's spokesperson said. There is no reserve, or starting, price on the piece.

In March, after artist Beeple's $69.3 million NFT sale at Christie's, talent agents started encouraging their celebrity clients to participate in the NFT "money grab," Ratajkowski said in an interview. Brands and cryptocurrency brokers contacted her directly, she said, offering her 20 percent to 60 percent of profits for an NFT featuring her likeness. "I had this bad feeling in my stomach about that way of approaching it," she said, so she decided to develop her own project — following another prominent model, Kate Moss.

Because an NFT is less about the image itself and more the concept of ownership over a digital file, Ratajkowski realized the medium could be an effective way to make a statement about ownership — by appropriating Prince's appropriation of her photo.

What to expect when you're expecting — at the Oscars ! Pregnant stars including Emily Blunt , Chrissy Teigen and Anne Hathaway have glamorously showed off their growing baby bumps at Hollywood's annual event.

In fact, Teigen has done this not once, but twice! The Lip Sync Battle cohost showed up to the 2016 Oscars in a Marchesa dress that she had to be sewn into . Impact Reportedly Paid For Ads On AEW Dynamite - Wrestling Inc.

Impact Wrestling will hold their second PPV of the year with Rebellion tonight. The show is headlined by a Title vs. Title match against Impact World Champion Rich Swann and AEW World Champion Kenny Omega.

Throughout the AEW – Impact partnership, Don Callis and The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, have appeared alongside Omega on Impact TV and Dynamite . AEW President and CEO Tony Khan has also made appearances on Impact along with Tony Schiavone in the form of paid ads.

However, it was noticeable that there was a lack of promotion for the Rebellion PPV on Dynamite outside of a mention from Callis. On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio , Dave Meltzer pointed out the Rebellion ads that played during the Dynamite broadcast. Meltzer reported that those ads were paid for by Impact Wrestling to help promote their PPV.

It was also noted that it is unclear, as of right now, how AEW will handle a double champion. The upcoming episode of Dynamite has already been taped, and there has not been any word on if Omega or Swann will make a taped appearance showing off all of their belts.
